Its location is perfect: close to the old town, yet quiet and peaceful at night. We were especially grateful that the host came to meet us at the train station and even helped carry our heavy suitcases upstairs. Truly a wonderful stay — highly recommended!

Our stay at Pension Drei Elstern was the highlight of our trip to the Harz area. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. The staff was attentive, efficient, and friendly. The location is only a short walk from the Harz Railway station at Schierke. The hotel is quiet, and is only a few steps away from several local restaurants. Hiking in the area is very good. In short, we'd like to stay again one day.
