This family-run hotel offers free WiFi in all areas and rooms with balconies overlooking the Allgäu Alps. The breakfast prepared for us in the dining room was beautiful.

This hotel in the town of Schwangau's Horn district offers rooms with panoramic views of the Alps. It is less than 2 km away from the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. It was way better then I expected. The pictures do not give it justice.

The property is clean and has a very warm feeling. The hosts are very nice. Room 2 has a very nice balcony. Breakfast is served from 7:30-9am and the breakfast room is quite cozy and comfortable.

The apartment is clean with a well equipped kitchen and the bedroom is especially spacious for 2 people. The apartment is decorated in a country style which match well with the surrounding environment. The view from the balcony is mind healing. A large pasture is right in front of the apartment with an endless mountain range as its background, which creates a beautiful picture of countryside. Also, don’t miss the Forggensee which is only 2 minutes walk from the apartment. We had a walk or picnic by the lake everyday we stayed in Schwangau. Forggensee is really a hidden gem! Lastly, we have to thank Sabestian again for his helpfulness. We are so lucky to have Sabestian as we our host. He is very patient in answering all our questions prior to or during our stay in Schwangau. He made recommendation for places to visit. He also helped us book a taxi to the train station as we had to get a train in the early morning. Thank you so much, Sabestian!
