Featuring a garden and views of inner courtyard, La Casa de la Abuela is a recently renovated apartment set in Pinos Genil, 10 km from Alhambra and Generalife. We received a very warm welcome from the owner Jorge, who helped with our luggage. He was super helpful throughout our stay, providing useful information about the region. His wife Asunta prepared a homemade pizza for our evening meals which was the best we had ever eaten and Jorge cooked a Argentinian meal which was superb. The view across the ravine from the accommodation was stunning! Pinos Genil is ideally situated a few kilometres outside Granada, and on the road to the stunning Sierra Nevada and Embalse de Canales is a few kilometrers away. Pinos Genil is an ideal location with good restaurants along the river. Jorge and Asunta made our vacation special !

Offering mountain views, BiBo Suites Sierra Nevada is an accommodation situated in Sierra Nevada, 33 km from Granada Science Park and 34 km from Granada Cathedral. The location was amazing, right next to the ski lift taking you to the village. It was clean tidy, and under floor heating was wonderful!

Located within 6.4 km of Granada Science Park and 10 km of Alhambra and Generalife, El Mirador de Santiago features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Monachil. This was an amazing stay for our short trip to Granada. The cabin is spotlessly clean, comfortable, and quiet. It has all the amenities you need for your stay. The host, Santiago (Manuela’s husband), helped us with parking our car, luggage, and showing us around. He also gave us the best tips of what to do with the time we had available, where to park, and good places to eat. The location is just 8 minutes away from Granada, but the benefits are huge with the pool, fabulous view, and quiet surroundings. We wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend this accommodation when you are visiting Granada! The bonus truly was the warm hospitality we received from the hosts!!

Set 19 km from San Juan de Dios Museum, 19 km from Albaicin and 20 km from Paseo de los Tristes, Apartamento Isabella suite provides accommodation located in Güéjar-Sierra. The contact with the host beforehand, his very clear instructions, the fact that it’s brand new looking, the magnificent view, the comfortable bedding. Fantastic stay.

Offering mountain views, SnowSun is an accommodation situated in Sierra Nevada, 33 km from Granada Science Park and 34 km from San Juan de Dios Museum. Beautiful cosy apartment with a wonderful view. We live locally, but wanted some fresher air so visited in the summer. The host was informative and friendly, and we loved the apartment and the tranquility of a ski resort in the hot months. Our two teenagers enjoyed the activities available and we all slept well. The sunrise was spectacular. Highly recommended.

Set in Sierra Nevada and with Granada Science Park reachable within 34 km, Sierra Nevada Hostel offers concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. The hostel is very clean, very calm and very friendly. Elizabeth is an excellent host and made me feel most welcome. I even enjoyed a game of chess with some new friends after a day of skiing. Nena is also an adorable little pup.

Set 8 km from Granada Science Park, Las Cuevas de Monachil offers a garden, and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a patio. Cozy, comfortable, warm, beautiful, would definitely go again, didn’t want to leave. Much more than I expected. Especially for that price. I don’t usually write reviews, but this property deserves a ten out of ten.
