We received a very warm welcome from the owner Jorge, who helped with our luggage. He was super helpful throughout our stay, providing useful information about the region. His wife Asunta prepared a homemade pizza for our evening meals which was the best we had ever eaten and Jorge cooked a Argentinian meal which was superb. The view across the ravine from the accommodation was stunning! Pinos Genil is ideally situated a few kilometres outside Granada, and on the road to the stunning Sierra Nevada and Embalse de Canales is a few kilometrers away. Pinos Genil is an ideal location with good restaurants along the river. Jorge and Asunta made our vacation special !

A nice break from staying in hotels in busy areas. This cabin was comfortable and quiet. Santiago was very friendly and helpful. We slept so well both nights we were here. The location is beautiful; outside of the very busy Granada but close enough to see the Alhambra and other sights. We had a rental car and were able to park it on site. Would definitely recommend. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful cosy apartment with a wonderful view. We live locally, but wanted some fresher air so visited in the summer. The host was informative and friendly, and we loved the apartment and the tranquility of a ski resort in the hot months. Our two teenagers enjoyed the activities available and we all slept well. The sunrise was spectacular. Highly recommended.

Bare 10 kilometer fra Alhambra og Generalife ligger Apartamentos Pinos Genil, som har boenheter med klimaanlegg og balkong. Owner provided lots of snacks and other toiletries (e.g. toothbrush, toothpaste, etc). The neighborhood is quiet with several nice restaurants. Easy bus ride to Granada.

Sierra Nevada Hostel ligger i Sierra Nevada, med Parque de las Ciencias (vitenskapspark) bare 34 kilometer unna. The best hostel ever!!! Felt really warm and welcoming in this lovely place, even I don’t really speak in Spanish much but they try their best to communicate with me, the host even took us out for the party. The room was absolutely perfect, with 24 hrs on heater, the door for the bunk bed, toilet is always clean, shower room is cozy with enough place to hang the cloth on, place to keep the clean clothes, and the personal locker to keep luggage which is hugeee, and most importantly the public area is perfectly comfy. The good hostel is the place that takes good care of little details, and the best people there definitely made my trip memorable. That’s why they worth 10 out of 10❤️

I Monachil, 8 kilometer fra Parque de las Ciencias (vitenskapspark) og 11 kilometer fra Alhambra og Generalife, ligger Las Cuevas de Monachil. We had a wonderful stay at Las Cuevas! Our host was incredibly friendly and very helpful. The place was absolutely clean and sooo cozy. Our little son loved the fact that it was a cave! We also really enjoyed all the little details which made the place feel like a home. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the place for an extraordinary stay!
