Great location and nice and cosy, hosts were very friendly and helped with any question of the local area. Fantastic breakfast every morning, hosts upgraded my room which was amazing, brilliant warm shower.

Featuring mountain views, Lindas Retreats Self catering accommodation 1 bedroom cottage or 3 bedroom House provides accommodation with terrace, around 43 km from Balmoral Castle. Litererally everything you could need of even think of while self-catering was provided. And I ve been in a few. And what a fine and lovingly decorated place apart from that! Access and communication was done remotely but the host was always swift to reply and very helpful. Was lucky enough to enjoy some warm and sunny weather which was also good to enjoy in the garden after a long hike on the hills and with a splendid view on the hills to boot.

Nurse's Cottage, a property with a garden, is set in Tomintoul, 16 km from Corgarff Castle, 22 km from Abernethy Golf Club, as well as 22 km from Grantown Museum. Location was great for what we had planned. Attention paid to cleanliness, info book Comfortable beds, nice linens and lovely towels. Decor pleasing Amenities great loved heated bathroom floor.

Situated in Tomintoul, 43 km from Balmoral Castle, The Smugglers Hostel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Nice hostel, had it all for myself which was a bit eerie but no surprise that time of the year. Bedrooms were okay, bit squeeky but else. Community room was nice and spacious, very big kitchen. The location is also nice, a lovely village with all you need. Visit the Whisky castle if you like whisky

Property was in a lovely location ideally situated for getting out and about. Lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable and great value for money. Had everything needed. Will definitely be returning!

Alt na Voir is located in Tomintoul, 23 km from Abernethy Golf Club, 23 km from Grantown Museum, and 29 km from Boat of Garten Golf Club. The 3-star holiday home is 16 km from Corgarff Castle. Lovely home from home in a wonderful location. Throughly enjoyed our stay here. The night sky was amazing. A shop and a pub down the road, plus other eateries. There are a couple of gift shops and a whisky shop.

Oh my goodness, this was the most amazing hotel stop on our trip. Lovely staff, sensational food, gorgeous room and my dog and I were made so welcome. Beautifully decorated throughout the hotel and spotlessly clean. 5 stars to you all
