One of the best run properties I have ever come across. Superb communication from the time of booking till arrival, the rooms are modern, very clean and thoughtful. Its 10 mins walk from the station, an easy 10’mins train to Varenna every hour. A beach and nice hikes around. The village is less touristy and shops are cheaper than the neighbouring towns. Certainly a great place to explore the area.

Lecco Lake Apartments Villa Liberty bevindt zich in Lecco, op 23 km van Tuinen van Villa Melzi en 24 km van Veerbootterminal Bellagio. The apartment was extremely clean, well equipped, comfortable and well located. Roberto was very friendly and really helpful. The wifi was fast. There's a big supermarket and pharmacy nearby.

To start with the owners provided literally everything you can dream of: Prosecco, herbal tea, chips, all possible utensils, tampons... List goes on. The location is just perfect. Quiet, still close to everything. ATM... Well, bank is according to GPS 9 m away, Don't miss a cute bench right on the shore: perfect location for a quiet read. Supermarket is 5 min away, all restaurants probably 7 to 10 min away. The bus stop to take you along this incredible shore is 3 min away. Ferry is 5 min away. I could continue forever... Oh, and this little town is still probably the cutest of all.

La nostra casa in centro ligt in Lecco, op 22 km van Tuinen van Villa Melzi, en biedt een terras, allergievrije kamers, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en een bar. This little gem is about a 10min walk from the train station, and probably 2mins from the bus which takes you to the funicular. It’s very well located. The beds were comfortable and there was ample room for the three of us. Our absolute highlight was the lovely man who runs this accommodation. He kindly carried our friends bag up the stairs (no elevator) and when we had an early train to catch the next day, he set up breakfast for us, all ready to go.

La Turr de Mezz- Bellagio LCA in Bellagio biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de bergen, gratis fietsen, een tuin en een terras. Zowel WiFi als privéparkeren is bij het appartement gratis toegankelijk.... The highlight of the property was the amount of space we got. It was a standalone guest house with a full kitchen, living room, full bathroom and master bed room. The living room had a small patio with a view of the mountains. Truly perfect. Bathroom was spacious and had good water pressure. Hosts were meticulous in cleaning, and the toilet bowl even had a professional looking paper strip to show that it was cleaned before our stay. No hairs or dirt all. Our hosts, Giuliana and Fabio were amazing too. Very friendly and responsive, gave us plenty of tips for the area on where to eat and visit, which was much appreciated. The kitchen was also stocked with beer and wine and even breakfast which we were told to help ourselves with, at no extra cost. The apartment is about a 10-15min walk from the city center, very manageable, but bellagio is generally hilly so do note. Overall loved our stay, and would definitely stay again next time we are back.
