The room we were originally in did not have functioning AC. The onsite staff member (Victoria) was quick to move us into a new room to ensure we were comfortable for the remainder of our stay. She was very pleasant and helpful. After our stay, we required a detailed invoice and the owner of the villa was kind a d quick to answer our request. The facility itself was beautiful, comfortable and clean. There was lots to do within the grounds and a decent breakfast every morning. Highly recommend!

Loved the whirlpool and waking to the sounds of Etna erupting. Got a personal concert from a robin while in the whirlpool. Food is great too. Nice hikes nearby. Frequent visits from the local fox - I forget its name, but it does have one.

Hosts were exceptional in going above and beyond to meet all our needs (e.g. hot, fresh-baked croissants every morning), plenty of snacks, coffee and fruit, etc. We stayed in seven different locations and it was by far our favorite!

Wonderful welcome with a little coffee and cake on the terrace. The view from there also at breakfast is amazing, all the way down the flank to Catania and over the sea. They have their own Etna tour organisation with which we were able to go to the three summit craters, no organisation effort on our part (just the walk up the mountain to 3300m, which is tougher than I thought!). Our daughter loved the choice of breakfast buffet, she's an expert :-). If you're going to the Etna, the location is perfect, it's just between both roads up into the national park.

First, the grounds were beautifully manicured and designed! Our daughters spent loads of time sitting in the garden just soaking in the peacefulness next to the very clean, well-maintained pool (which I definitely took advantage of after the long Mt. Etna hike!) that had nice chairs and umbrellas as well. Our unit was on the second floor and had huge front and back patios! Loved having the washing machine and this was a great location to visit Mt. Etna (if you walk to the top of the property you can see it!) Bedroom itself was a little tight with the queen and one twin, and the other the twin bed was actually in the kitchen but my daughter didn't care. Host was lovely and responsive - she made sure to greet us as well as bid us farewell, and of course got us anything that needed restocking straight away. She truly cares about your experience and maintains a beautiful property!
