Extremely high quality of materials when this building was made. Sound proof rooms, great mattress, good blinds. Lots of facilities, including a jacuzzi and sauna (€9 per person extra). Breakfast was small but lots of variety. Excellent people running the place, very helpful and full of useful information. The view is nice too, we had a see view room. Would come again.

It is located right across the street from the city park, which is also beautiful. The B&B is also located less than a block away from many restaurants, bars, Gelateria, etc. The town of Nicolosi is also cute and clean… so, this property fits in perfectly! Ruben was very communicative and a wonderful host during our stay. He even helped us plan our Mount Etna tour/trip, which went so much better than it would have if we had tried to do it on our own. When we come back to Sicily, we plan on staying here again!

The area is popular for skiing and cycling, and bike hire is available at Locanda Milia Etna. Staff was very friendly and informative. Loved the whirlpool and waking to the sounds of Etna erupting. Got a personal concert from a robin while in the whirlpool. Food is great too. Nice hikes nearby. Frequent visits from the local fox - I forget its name, but it does have one.

A toaster, a fridge and stovetop are also provided, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the apartment complex, every unit has bed linen and towels. Absolutely immaculate, very up to date and modern. Hosts were exceptional in going above and beyond to meet all our needs (e.g. hot, fresh-baked croissants every morning), plenty of snacks, coffee and fruit, etc. We stayed in seven different locations and it was by far our favorite!

The decoration & the furniture are well chosen to make you feel in a relax environment. The breakfast is delicious, homemade and with a large variety of local food The staff is really helpful and dedicated.

Outdoor play equipment is also available at Il Casale di Monacella, while guests can also relax in the garden. I would like to thank Monica for providing all the necessities for my baby, including a highchair and a baby cot. The apartment was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. It was also reassuring to have parking available on the premises, which was very important for us. We truly enjoyed our stay at Monica’s place and will definitely visit again when we return to Sicily.

If you would like to discover the area, pub crawls is possible in the surroundings. Amazing place, Mrs Giusy is such a nice woman, kind and helpful, it makes the difference! Angela and the family were absolutely amazing, and made sure I would have the best stay. I came by public transport which was challenging enough, and Angela and Gaia were SUPER helpful with helping me booking a wine tasting experience and getting there, and finding a bus back to Catania. The pool have an amazing view, very clean, with great facilities around (sun beds, showers), and they were also generous with staying after check out. Breakfast was also good with great verity. The room was great and clean, even better than the photos. Overall, I highly recommend staying here, and I wish I had more days.

The B&B is very well equipped and situated just 30 minutes away from Etna making it the perfect location if you would like to center your holiday around ETNA/Catania/Taormina/Savoca etc. We were welcomed with our dogs with open arms and we couldn't be more grateful. The breakfast was also a highlight to our day. Overall a wonderful stay at Giovanni's who was always willing to help us and suggest places to go. Thank you
