Situated in Gujo, 46 km from Gero Station and 100 metres from Rensho-ji Temple, The Nomad Inn Gujo features air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Host Masahiro, an easy going person and quick to respond to all queries. Nestled in the old district and within distance to all attractions in Gujo. However the stairway going up to the bedrooms is steep and a challenge to older folks. Otherwise a beautiful ryokan to experience Japanese living.

Located within 35 km of Takayama Station and 38 km of Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village in Takayama, Yunohirakan features accommodation with seating area. Super nice ryokan ! Dinner is excellent ! Staff are friendly . Very pleasant stay ! Will return again!

Situated in a tranquil area in Gifu Region, a 52-minute drive away from JR Takayama Station, Mozumo boasts a hot-spring bath and rooms decorated with modern Japanese interior. My stay at Mozumo was a dream—a very relaxing experience. The private onsen in the room made everything very special. The room was big and comfortable. I would strongly recommend the dinner and breakfast experience. A shuttle picked us up from the bus station, which was helpful after a long trip.

Boasting a private open-air bath, Oyado Eitaro is situated in Takayama. Featuring free private parking, the 2-star ryokan is 35 km from Takayama Station. Clean, good breakfast, XL room, great tv, closer to bus Terminal.

Reopened after renovation in 2022, Auberge Hidanomori is situated in quiet hills, a 10-minute shuttle ride from JR Takayama Station. This is my 3rd visits to Takayama this year during different seasons and this trip is mainly as a base for visiting Kamikochi. I booked this inn away from city center to experience the hospitality of a small family-run inn and the dining experience with wine pairing. Auberge Hida no Mori didn't disappoint 🙏🤗

ひらゆの森別邸湯う香三蔵庵 is set in the Hirayu Onsen district of Takayama, 47 km from The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum, 49 km from Matsumoto Station and 13 km from Kamikochi. Location, private onsen in the suite, kaiseki dinner is elegant and delicious, so is the delicious breakfast, both served in our room, it’s a great experience. The staffs are very warm and helpful. It gave free entrance ticket to the big public onsen which is a great extra benefit.

Set in Gujo, 民泊Azoo provides accommodation 5.8 km from Takasu Snow Park and 6.8 km from Dynaland Ski Resort. Extremely friendly owner, complete amenities, lovely and quaint place

Apollon is situated in the Gujo Hachiman district of Gujo, 400 metres from Koko no mori Museum Yudokan, 400 metres from Saito Art Museum and 500 metres from Gujohachiman Kyuchosha Kinenkan. Beautiful location and view of the river from the room we stayed in. Friendly host. The property had all the necessary amenities and was of a good size.
