The Nomad Inn Gujo ligger i Gujo Hachiman i Gujo, 46 kilometer fra Gero Station, 1 minutters gange fra Rensho-ji Temple og 100 meter fra Joinji Temple. A wonderful stay at a classic Japanese house! The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, taking the time to explain everything about the home and the city of Gujo. He also gave us an excellent recommendation for a local izakaya, which was the perfect spot for dinner. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic and personal experience!

花緑里-Hanamidori-乙原のやど 岐阜下呂温泉郡上飛騨金山湖畔リゾート ligger i Gujo, 19 kilometer fra Gero Station, og har overnatting med en terrasse, gratis WiFi, et felleskjøkken og romservice. They really made you feel as if you were a part of their family and took time out of their day to show me around the area and drive me to many different areas all while having really nice conversations.

Yunohirakan ligger gunstig til i Hirayu Onsen i Takayama, 38 kilometer fra Hida Minzoku Mura landsbymuseum, 47 kilometer fra Japan Ukiyo-e museum og 49 kilometer fra Matsumoto stasjon. The Ryokan was superb. The hot springs were great, the food was excellent and the portions were enormous. The service was wonderful and friendly.

Situated in a tranquil area in Gifu Region, a 52-minute drive away from JR Takayama Station, Mozumo boasts a hot-spring bath and rooms decorated with modern Japanese interior. The private onsen in the rooms was amazing. The rooms were private and spacious and I am dreaming of going back one day. We especially appreciated the layout of the hotel and emphasis on design.

I Takayama, 35 kilometer fra Takayama stasjon, ligger Oyado Eitaro, som har gratis WiFi og gratis privat parkering. This is the best ryokan we stayed considering their price range. Food is overflowing and their hospitality is unmatched! There is also a private onsen in the facility. They don't discriminate race or those with tattoos.

Reopened after renovation in 2022, Auberge Hidanomori is situated in quiet hills, a 10-minute shuttle ride from JR Takayama Station. We had such an excellent stay at this aubege! Toshi san met us at the train station and within 10 minutes we were in a very quiet place of this auberge. It was a serene stay with delicious breakfast and dinner. Toshi san also has an impressive natural wine selection. We highly recommend getting dinner there. We wish we could stay longer, but it was fully booked for the next nights.

Offering traditional Japanese-style accommodation with spacious public baths, Yatsusankan-Children 6 years and older only is a 6-minute walk from JR Hidafurukawa Train Station. It was a magical experience. We loved everything about Yatsusankan: The room, the atmosphere, the onsen, the staff, the high quality meals. It even started to snow when we were there, making the experience even more beautiful. Our 11 year old didn’t want to leave 😍 We could not be happier about our stay here and would return in a heartbeat.

I Takayama, 35 kilometer fra Takayama stasjon, ligger ひらゆの森別邸湯う香三蔵庵, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering og skiløyper rett utenfor døren. Location, private onsen in the suite, kaiseki dinner is elegant and delicious, so is the delicious breakfast, both served in our room, it’s a great experience. The staffs are very warm and helpful. It gave free entrance ticket to the big public onsen which is a great extra benefit.

お宿葉の光 ligger i Gujo Hachiman i Gujo, 16 minutters gange fra Igawa Komichi, 1,7 kilometer fra Joinji Temple og 16 minutters gange fra Gujohachiman Kyuchosha Kinenkan. Really cool and classic japanese style. The owner is really nice and provided anything we could think of needing.
