Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. This was an amazing hotel/ryokan with incredible amenities - great hot springs/onsen, really cool retro video games, and huge clean cozy rooms in perfect condition. I could have stayed a week very happily. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful and speaks English fluently.

Boasting hot spring baths in a spectacular outdoor setting by Takaragawa River, Japanese-style hotel Takaragawa Onsen Osenkaku is a 10-minute drive from Hodaigi Ski Resort. A lovely stay in a Ryokan by the river. The room was really big and the view was simply amazing and the Onsen was a great experience. During Fall the colors are just amazing! Also the shuttle pick up from Jōmō-Kōgen station is super convenient. They serve breakfast and dinner and food was really good.

They had great tips for things to do in the area, gave us rides from/to town, and also helped make reservations. The e-bikes made getting around super smooth. Breakfast and coffee every morning were top notch. And finally the lodge itself was spotless and in a super beautiful and peaceful area, with hikes starting pretty much right outside the door

We arrived to a stunning sight of Tanigawa Mountain, which immediately set a serene tone for our stay. - Room Ambiance: We stayed in the "Tachibana" room, named after flowers. It was quiet, peaceful, and surprisingly spacious. The overall atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing city getaway. - Private Onsen: The private onsen was the highlight of our stay, offering a tranquil and rejuvenating experience. - Dining Experience: Both dinner and breakfast were impressive, with beautifully prepared and delicious meals.

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. Everything about it was perfect. Close to bus station, close to the yubatake and all downtown stuff, excellent food, comfiest comforter I’ve ever experienced, super friendly staff, and 4 readily available 24 hour private baths. Loved every second here, especially the private baths (I tried out two of them!).
