Haiji is a most beautiful mountain guest house warm and welcoming just as our hosts. Their record collection and memorabilia is amazing. Could not ask for a better place to stay. Highly recommend.

Appi Life is Beautiful features city views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Hachimantai, 46 km from Morioka Station. The accommodation has a hot tub. The lodge is walking distance to the ski resort and the food is delicious for both breakfast and dinner. Free shuttle was offered to and from the ski resort (but I walked since as it was not snowing and I needed the warm up stroll). Refreshing trip.

The facilities were clean and well-maintained. The outdoor private onsen was lovely. We were able to use it 2 times during our short stay without waiting at all. Staff were friendly and helpful, and some even spoke English. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious, and it was so nice to have those planned with the booking.

Hachimantai Mountain Hotel & Spa features a sauna and free private parking, and is within 35 km of Morioka Station and 18 km of Appi Kogen Ski Resort. Amazing room and great location. We had the pleasure to try sulfur onsen and it was really great. Such a nice relaxing time in this hotel.

Hachimantai Heights offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 40 km of Morioka Station and 17 km of Appi Kogen Ski Resort. The property is close to some really scenic places and it was nice to base ourselves there for couple of days. The staff, service and meals were really good. I have to do a big shout out for the staff at the hotel, they were super super awesome and nothing seems difficult.

Very cozy property, heated floor was very helpful for winter season, better than AC. The location was prime for skiing at Appi resort. The breakfast was provided at a good price.
