Haiji is a most beautiful mountain guest house warm and welcoming just as our hosts. Their record collection and memorabilia is amazing. Could not ask for a better place to stay. Highly recommend.

Free shuttle was offered to and from the ski resort (but I walked since as it was not snowing and I needed the warm up stroll). Refreshing trip.

At first I thought that it's a family run accommodation, but it's actually not. There are 2-3 people working at the reception. It's indeed a hotel! Breakfast: great coffee, food, service, environment Lunch: no lunch. I bet most people are at the ski Dinner: 3 options (chosen by the receptionist). All with beef as the main dish. Transportation: needed to schedule the shuttle every day, e.g., when to go to the ski, when to return, when to pick up from train station, when to depart, etc. Very close to the ski resort. Less than 15 minutes on foot. Two private and one public hot spring!!!! This is really my favourite part. Beautiful place! There's an area selling cup noodles, daily necessities, and souvenir. We live in a room for 4-5 people. spacious. large window. Beautiful view. Indoor clothing provided. Great renovation and decoration. Professional staff.

The property is close to some really scenic places and it was nice to base ourselves there for couple of days. The staff, service and meals were really good. I have to do a big shout out for the staff at the hotel, they were super super awesome and nothing seems difficult.

Easy to access the ski resort, just 3-4 minutes by car or 10 minutes walk. There's a shuttle to the ski resort. Nutrient breakfast, including drinks like coffee, milk and juice. The staff are very nice.
