Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Its a whole house that we rented. There are 3 rooms, the rooms are spacious, all with tatami floor and futon. There are 3 toilets, washing machine and a private onsen. There is kotatsu, some board games and a super famicom to play with. Kitchen is completed with refrigerator, microwave, stove and utensils, also an electric grill stove to make barbeque. Towel & bathrobe included. The owner is so nice. He gave us free fresh milk for each of us. There was a problem with electric heater and it was around 10 PM when we told him about it, but he immediately came to fix it. It was a really pleasant stay.

We absolutely loved the nature, the onsen, the 100-year-old room with a heated floor, the food, the staff. A wonderful experience!

Our stay at Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery was lovely. We arrived a bit late, but the staff were still there to welcome us and check us in. We decided to try the Italian restaurant ‘Small Restaurant Sae’ just up the street, and it did not disappoint. The property is also within a 6-minute drive to a FamilyMart. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast and coffee in the morning were delicious. We ran into the property owner, Craig, as we were leaving, and he was very kind and gave us recommendations for things to do in the area. We would definitely stay at Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery on our next trip to Tanigawa!

The room is very spacious, the facilities are brand new and clean, and the soundproofing is excellent. The private bath outside the room is fantastic; it was snowing on the day of my stay, making the snow bath very enjoyable. The staff is incredibly friendly to foreigners, providing a welcoming atmosphere. Although I don't know the name of the staff on that day, the service was excellent.

Excellent location, close to the center and all major onsen. The view from our room was fantastic, and the room itself was spacious and comfortable. I strongly recommend reaching out to the property and booking a dinner reservation. Dinner was absolutely incredible, some of the best Japanese food we've had. The lady who welcomed us was very polite and friendly, and she could speak very good English. The baths were also great with two different hot water sources and a sauna.

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. We liked everything! Such lovely hospitality! Fabulous breakfast! Really enjoyed the private Onsens! There are 4 that you can use anytime.

I Nasushiobara, 42 kilometer fra Shirakawa stasjon, ligger Itamuro Onsen Daikokuya, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering og en terrasse. I was originally interested in this hotel because I read that the Onsen had a Museum full of Kishio Suga's work. I had been following this amazing Japanese artist for a number of years... so that fact was a deciding factor for me. But, the Onsen, the staff, the care that we felt they put into everything they did, the atmosphere of the place, the gardens also designed by Kishio Suga, the delightful guests we had the pleasure of meeting, our room and the food we were served - and let's not forget the tour of the museum! - made me love this place. Itamuro Onsen Daikokuya has history. Someone told us that the Onsen was 500 years old. Most of the Japanese guests we met there went to purely relax. The kind and capable staff take amazing care of all the guests: A Japanese friend in Tokyo told me I should celebrate the Winter Solstice while I was in Nasushiobara. She explained that on that one day, it had always been traditionally celebrated by putting YUZU fruit in Japanese baths and eating something made of pumpkin. I asked the hotel about all this. I really don't think it was part of their plan... but, they did it all: the YUZU in the baths and the specially prepared Pumpkin desserts. It was all to please us, their guests, and make sure our stay was perfect. I was so grateful and felt so pampered and happy. I enjoyed that fruit in the Japanese bath more than you can imagine. So, If you want to relax in a beautiful Onsen with history, go see great art at the. Suga museum, to have a beautiful experience,and be pampered in a very Japanese sort of way...you must come to Itamuro Onsen Daikokuya.
