Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Ryokan bem tradicional, linda decoração dos ambientes, equipe e atendimento maravilhosos, quarto amplo e bem limpo, confortável e relaxante. Local bem tranquilo, ótimo para descansar. Onsen com águas termais maravilhoso. Café da manhã bem servido com variedades de opções. Foi uma experiência incrível de hospedagem em Kusatsu Onsen. O ryokan fica um pouco afastado do centro (Yubatake) e do terminal de ônibus, mas não prejudicou em nenhum momento a nossa experiência na cidade. Inclusive, na volta o carro do próprio ryokan levou a gente de volta para o terminal de ônibus.

Um sonho. As montanhas, a neve, a agua quente… realmente especial. O quarto super espaçoso e a vista estonteante. A comida era farta e excelente. Os futons super confortáveis. O banho publico muito bom também!

A cerca de 47 km de Parque dos Macacos Jigokudani e a 15 km de Mt. Kusatsu Shirane, BUNA KUSATSU Onsen Inn dispõe de quartos em Kusatsu. Amazing place - great facilities and a private onsen. Would happily return! Perfect for couples :)

Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery situa-se em Minakami, a 36 km de Estância de Esqui de Gala Yuzawa, e dispõe de acomodações com bicicletas gratuitas, estacionamento privado gratuito, um jardim... We had such a wonderful time at Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery. Staying here felt more like visiting a friend than checking into a lodge. Craig and his family are genuinely lovely… warm, generous, and full of helpful local insights. From day one, Craig helped us plan everything: hiking routes, the best nearby restaurants, even the local swimming spot his family visits daily. He even pointed out interesting local wildlife, which added a special touch to our nature walks. The rooms were super comfortable, breakfast was a delight, and the coffee… well, it lives up to the “roastery” in the name. Truly some of the best we’ve had in Japan. We’re already talking about coming back in winter to experience the area’s skiing. Highly recommended.

Minakami Onsen Aratashi Minakami situa-se em Minakami, a 33 km de Estância de Esqui de Gala Yuzawa, e dispõe de acomodações com um terraço, estacionamento privado gratuito e um restaurante. The property is modern, contemporary and clean. With a wonderfully calm atmosphere and great views of the near by hills and river. Each room has its own onsen on the balcony. The staff are friendly and so helpful. They even called ahead for us to see if some things we wanted to do were open. We can’t wait to come back!

Kusatsu Hotel Bekkan Wata no Yu (Adult Only) encontra-se em Kusatsu, a 45 km de Parque dos Macacos Jigokudani e a 14 km de Mt. Kusatsu Shirane. Excellent location and the staff is wonderful. There’s only a very limited number of rooms so it’s more of a boutique hotel but it doesn’t take anything away from it.

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. Localização perfeita (menos de 5min.da estação de onibus e pouco mais de 5 min. de Yubatake), familiar, super café da manhã, quartos grandes, 4 banhos privados! Ah! Delicioso chá de boas vindas!

Itamuro Onsen Daikokuya encontra-se em Nasushiobara, a 42 km de Estação Ferroviária de Shirakawa, e apresenta acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito e um terraço. I was originally interested in this hotel because I read that the Onsen had a Museum full of Kishio Suga's work. I had been following this amazing Japanese artist for a number of years... so that fact was a deciding factor for me. But, the Onsen, the staff, the care that we felt they put into everything they did, the atmosphere of the place, the gardens also designed by Kishio Suga, the delightful guests we had the pleasure of meeting, our room and the food we were served - and let's not forget the tour of the museum! - made me love this place. Itamuro Onsen Daikokuya has history. Someone told us that the Onsen was 500 years old. Most of the Japanese guests we met there went to purely relax. The kind and capable staff take amazing care of all the guests: A Japanese friend in Tokyo told me I should celebrate the Winter Solstice while I was in Nasushiobara. She explained that on that one day, it had always been traditionally celebrated by putting YUZU fruit in Japanese baths and eating something made of pumpkin. I asked the hotel about all this. I really don't think it was part of their plan... but, they did it all: the YUZU in the baths and the specially prepared Pumpkin desserts. It was all to please us, their guests, and make sure our stay was perfect. I was so grateful and felt so pampered and happy. I enjoyed that fruit in the Japanese bath more than you can imagine. So, If you want to relax in a beautiful Onsen with history, go see great art at the. Suga museum, to have a beautiful experience,and be pampered in a very Japanese sort of way...you must come to Itamuro Onsen Daikokuya.
