We've been to Japan a few times and this was one of our favourite stays ever. We stayed in the beautifully restored guest house and enjoyed an amazing Japanese breakfast in the main house every morning. The owners are a wonderful and incredibly generous family, who went above and beyond and even drove us to local restaurants and a great onsen. As we didn't have a car, we went on a hugely enjoyable tour of the Echigo-Tsumari Art Field with the lovely and very knowledgable Nobu. Huge thanks to Nobu and her family for looking after us and making us feel so welcome.

Yado Brodiaea conta com acomodação com Wi-Fi grátis e estacionamento privativo grátis, e Templo Zenkoji está a 31 km de distância. Definitely one of the best stay experience so far in Japan. The hosts are extremely good and I am out of words to describe how welcoming they are. They took care of every small thing we needed and beyond that. They guided us through all the necessary details of the town, gave us a short tour of the town and also dropped and picked us up from the ski resort. The entire property has floor heating and was so clean, comfortable and cozy. I am really thankful to them for all the efforts they have made to make our trip a memorable one.

Pension Moomin Papa fica em Myoko, a 31 km de Templo Zenkoji, a 33 km de Estação de trem de Nagano e conta com acomodações com Wi-Fi grátis, ar-condicionado, um jardim e um lounge compartilhado. Comfy, felt like a home. Private onsen across the street. There is a lovely public onsen at the Lime Resort which is walking distance from the lodge.

Oferecendo acesso direto às pistas de esqui e depósito para esquis, o Belle Vue Nishiura está localizado em Minami Uonuma, na Região de Niigata, a 3 minutos a pé da Estação de Esqui Ishiuchi-Maruyama.... My friend and I had an absolutely fantastic time staying at this hotel. It's a family establishment run by Satoshi and his wife, along with their two small children, with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location can't be beat with a five minute walk to the Ishiuchi Maruyama gondola. Satoshi and his wife were incredibly kind hosts, providing me and my friend with pick-up from Echigo Yuzawa Station (multiple times since we arrived and departed at different times!) as well as transportation to Maiko Ski Resort. They also rented out snowboarding gear and provided breakfast for extremely reasonable prices. I would recommend this place 10 times out of 10 and have every intention of returning myself in the near future.　サトシさん、誠にありがとうございます！

Oferecendo um terraço e banheira de água termal, o Maruyama Onsen Kojyokan está situado em Minami Uonuma, a 2 km do Maiko Snow Resort. O estacionamento privativo está disponível gratuitamente no... The staff were very kind and helpful. They picked us up at Echigo Yuzawa station when we arrived and kindly gave us lift back to the station when our trip was over. They also gave us a lift to the Ishiuchi trains station when needed. They answered all our questions and helped us booking taxis. The ryokan is very well mantained and has wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. The breakfast has plenty of good options. The ofuro and the onsen are small but comfortable. All in all a very nice ryokan.

O Yuzawa Grand Hotel fica a 2 minutos a pé da Estação de Trem Echigo Yuzawa e do Museu Sake. A propriedade oferece 3 banhos públicos, serviço de massagem e estacionamento gratuito no local. The food at breakfast and dinner was varied and exceptional. All of the dishes I tried I liked , and they had a nice variety of western and Japanese. The room we had was huge and very comfortable. The onsen facilities were excellent, and very well kept. We are skiers and this hotel was very well setup for skiers. They have locker rooms for storage as well as changing, and on checkout day you can leave all your luggage , go ski, come back and change and then leave. But what makes this hotel a standout is the staff. I speak limited Japanese but had no issues communicating with the staff either speaking directly to them or using google translate. They are kind, patient and will do anything to help you. On checkout day, we went skiing and came back at 11:30 and needed to use the courier service taqubin which is conveniently located inside the hotel gift shop. However, we failed to notice beforehand that the shop takes a close break from 11:30 until 3:30 and our train leaves at 3;15. We were very stressed but the lady who runs the store and handles the courier said no problem, she would stay open just for us and give us time to change out of our ski clothes ,repack our ski gear and come back. It took us longer than we thought to repack and change because we had some trouble locating the ski bag as it was behind the counter in long storage. It didn’t matter, she still waited and when we finally finished she patiently helped us with the forms and everything was handled . When we left again for the station we had some time to wait so we purchased some small sweets and went back to give them to the staff as a thank you for all their exceptional efforts and help with our stay . They seemed genuinely surprised and happy and then walked out to wave us goodbye! How nice and a great happy surprise for us! We cannot recommend this hotel enough and we will be back someday.
