Situated within 25 km of Maiko Snow Resort and 47 km of Tanigawadake in Minami Uonuma, Urasa Cottage @ Snow Countryside provides accommodation with seating area. The host made our check in easy, the house was lovely, everything you would need, clean and quiet. Offstreet parking was a bonus, and his recommendation for a meal was perfect 10/10

Featuring 4-star accommodation, Kyukamura Myoko is located in Myoko, 38 km from Zenkoji Temple and 40 km from Nagano Station. Onsen, rooms, staff, location, everything was great.

Offering a garden and river view, Noka Minshuku Sanzen is situated in Tokamachi, 24 km from Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort and 47 km from Naeba Ski Resort. Absolutely incredible! We stayed for one night and had a lovely host family who welcomed us with homemade tea and drove us to the local onsen and sushi shop. The guesthouse was very cute and cozy and had a little balcony for us to sit and watch the snow fall! Highly recommend!

Ideally set in the Ikenotaira Onsen district of Myoko, Yado Brodiaea is situated 31 km from Zenkoji Temple, 33 km from Nagano Station and 43 km from Suzaka City Zoo. The inn was cozy and comfortable to come back to after a long day. It always seemed to be at the right temperature too! Warm after a day of skiing but not too hot. Hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive as everyone else has said :) we felt very taken care of

Situated in Myoko, 31 km from Zenkoji Temple and 33 km from Nagano Station, Pension Moomin Papa features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and a shared lounge. My sister and I went to Myoko Kogen for a ski week. We stayed at this Pension. Papa was so generous to pick us up at the train station and return us at the end of our trip. He was also really good about helping us to the 2 neighboring ski resorts. I will say if you want to ski Seki or resorts outside of town, he unfortunately doesn't have time. The bus system wasn't working either. The breakfast was standard, good for the value and prompt. The location was walking distance to places to eat and a bus stop. The hosts were extremely kind.

Yuzawa Grand Hotel is within a 2-minute walk from Echigo Yuzawa Train Station and the Sake Museum. It offers 3 public baths, a massage service and free parking on site. Yuzawa Grand hotel gave us the best Japan cultural immersion experience. Our room had both the western style bed but with Japanese tatamis and spare futons. This has been the highlight of our Japan trip as we experienced eating oranges in a low Japanese table, sleep in futons, experience the amazing Onsens Hot springs both indoor and outdoor. The hotel is very engaging, clean, accommodating-- i cannot praise it enough. It is also in this hotel that we tried sukiyaki for the first time and many amazing dishes and seafood in both their breakfast and dinner offers. We would really love to visit again in a few years time hopefully:)

Featuring 10 uniquely designed hot spring baths, Shosenkaku Kagetsu provides Japanese-style accommodation just a 5-minute walk from JR Echigo Yuzawa Train Station. - spacious room for two people. - the pillow is very comfortable and I slept very well with it!! - staffs are all very nice and willing to help, even with limited English:-) - the location is also perfect! Only 4-5 min walk from the west exit of the Echigo-Yuzawa station. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the same street.

Rokans Kogakuro atrodas klusā vietā. Viesiem tiek piedāvāti patīkami, japāņu stilā iekārtoti numuri, kuros ir daudz dabiskās gaismas. Mieko-san and the rest of the team are super! It was well organized and breakfast + dinner are tasty. The room is big and comfortable with nice mountain view.. Close to the ski lift and there are many restaurants around. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
