Situated within 25 km of Maiko Snow Resort and 47 km of Tanigawadake in Minami Uonuma, Urasa Cottage @ Snow Countryside provides accommodation with seating area. Clean, tidy, comfortable bed and Hongjie (staff) was extremely kind and gave us a lift to nearby ski resort AND let us leave bags at the cottage AND picked us up from skiing AND gave us a lift to the station.

Featuring 4-star accommodation, Kyukamura Myoko is located in Myoko, 38 km from Zenkoji Temple and 40 km from Nagano Station. Room is very nice and modern, well decorated with spaces. Onsen is good too. Breakfast and dinner also nice and value for what we paid. The facility and location next to their own slope.

Offering a garden and river view, Noka Minshuku Sanzen is situated in Tokamachi, 24 km from Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort and 47 km from Naeba Ski Resort. This place is magical. We've been to Japan a few times and this was one of our favourite stays ever. We stayed in the beautifully restored guest house and enjoyed an amazing Japanese breakfast in the main house every morning. The owners are a wonderful and incredibly generous family, who went above and beyond and even drove us to local restaurants and a great onsen. As we didn't have a car, we went on a hugely enjoyable tour of the Echigo-Tsumari Art Field with the lovely and very knowledgable Nobu. Huge thanks to Nobu and her family for looking after us and making us feel so welcome.

Ideally set in the Ikenotaira Onsen district of Myoko, Yado Brodiaea is situated 31 km from Zenkoji Temple, 33 km from Nagano Station and 43 km from Suzaka City Zoo. Definitely one of the best stay experience so far in Japan. The hosts are extremely good and I am out of words to describe how welcoming they are. They took care of every small thing we needed and beyond that. They guided us through all the necessary details of the town, gave us a short tour of the town and also dropped and picked us up from the ski resort. The entire property has floor heating and was so clean, comfortable and cozy. I am really thankful to them for all the efforts they have made to make our trip a memorable one.

Situated in Myoko, 31 km from Zenkoji Temple and 33 km from Nagano Station, Pension Moomin Papa features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and a shared lounge. My sister and I went to Myoko Kogen for a ski week. We stayed at this Pension. Papa was so generous to pick us up at the train station and return us at the end of our trip. He was also really good about helping us to the 2 neighboring ski resorts. I will say if you want to ski Seki or resorts outside of town, he unfortunately doesn't have time. The bus system wasn't working either. The breakfast was standard, good for the value and prompt. The location was walking distance to places to eat and a bus stop. The hosts were extremely kind.

Offering ski-to-door access and ski storage space, Belle Vue Nishiura is located in Minami Uonuma in the Niigata Region, a 3-minute walk from Ishiuchi-Maruyama Ski Resort. The breakfast is included and you can decide when u want to have it. Satoshi san is really helpful and responsible, also the staff will help you as much as they can. They also got the free shuttle service only for fews destinations.

Offering a terrace and hot spring bath, Maruyama Onsen Kojyokan is situated in Minami Uonuma, 2 km from Maiko Snow Resort. Free private parking is available on site. The staff were super nice and helpful. They tried their best to help us if we have any questions.

Yuzawa Grand Hotel is within a 2-minute walk from Echigo Yuzawa Train Station and the Sake Museum. It offers 3 public baths, a massage service and free parking on site. Great room, onsen and breakfast. Great to have ski gear rental at hotel as well which helps us eliminate garment changing at ski resorts and also save cost. Locker room is also adequate to keep our luggage prior to check-in.

Featuring 10 uniquely designed hot spring baths, Shosenkaku Kagetsu provides Japanese-style accommodation just a 5-minute walk from JR Echigo Yuzawa Train Station. Great location. The room was a really good size with a nice family area to sit at, heating was good. Very friendly and helpful staff. The onsen was wonderful. Really liked the lounge where we could relax in after dinner, and have drinks and snacks.

Rokans Kogakuro atrodas klusā vietā. Viesiem tiek piedāvāti patīkami, japāņu stilā iekārtoti numuri, kuros ir daudz dabiskās gaismas. Mieko-san and the rest of the team are super! It was well organized and breakfast + dinner are tasty. The room is big and comfortable with nice mountain view.. Close to the ski lift and there are many restaurants around. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
