I Minami Uonuma, 29 kilometer fra Gala Yuzawa vintersportanlegg og 25 kilometer fra Maiko Skianlegg, ligger Urasa Cottage @ Snow Countryside. Lovely new house! Room was huge and we could use the kitchen and living room downstairs. The host came to pick me up at the train station and offered to drive me back next morning, and also presented a gift of a bottle of sake. Very satisfied!

We are so glad to find this gem! The hosts, including the cat, Mame, were most kind, warm, and hospitable. We went to the restaurants that they recommended. Ichihiro was superb, so good that we went twice! The host drove us there and back so that we could enjoy sake. The place is just lovely - the decor, the space. Everything works well. Heating was great as the weather turned cold. Appreciate the washing machine too. Despite the language barrier, we communicated well. Sincerely appreciate the oranges and persimmons that they gave us. They were so delicious!

The hosts were the most hospitable we've ever met, looking after us and checking in as if we were family. Highly reccomend for a real Japanese mountain experience.

We loved everything about our stay! Our hosts welcomed us with exceptional hospitality and helped us solved any problems. The onsen was the perfect way to end each day.

Offering ski-to-door access and ski storage space, Belle Vue Nishiura is located in Minami Uonuma in the Niigata Region, a 3-minute walk from Ishiuchi-Maruyama Ski Resort. We were very pleased with the fantastic location at walking distance from Ishiuchi Maruyama and all the facilities, including the affordable ski equipment rental, the huge drying room, a yummy breakfast and the warm welcome by our host. The free shuttle service from Echigo-Yuzawa station is a plus!

Offering a terrace and hot spring bath, Maruyama Onsen Kojyokan is situated in Minami Uonuma, 2 km from Maiko Snow Resort. Free private parking is available on site. Amazing place - lovely and very comfortable, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. They speak decent English, but also have good systems set up with WhatsApp and Google Translate and nothing is too much trouble. The onsen are beautiful and the food in the restaurant is just delicious.

Yuzawa Grand Hotel is within a 2-minute walk from Echigo Yuzawa Train Station and the Sake Museum. It offers 3 public baths, a massage service and free parking on site. The onsen and the buffet spread

Featuring 10 uniquely designed hot spring baths, Shosenkaku Kagetsu provides Japanese-style accommodation just a 5-minute walk from JR Echigo Yuzawa Train Station. Room is very clean. Staffs are also very nice and professional. Onsen is comfortable . But it’s a pity that we haven’t booked their dinner.

Set in peaceful landscapes, Kogakuro offers pleasant Japanese-style rooms with plenty of natural light. It features indoor and outdoor hot springs, a library and a cosy lounge with a fireplace. Awesome cultural experience, convient to some of the best powder skiing, onsen soak after day of skiing, all staff - from the kindest owner to her Japanese and seasonal team from Australia was so helpful... overall the best!

Bare 2 kilometer fra Gala Yuzawa vintersportanlegg og 22 kilometer fra Naeba skisenter ligger Guest house SENWA, som tilbyr overnatting med klimaanlegg og felles bad i Yuzawa. Amazingly friendly staff, Naoto was very accommodating, excellent clean facilities, and comfortable bed. The Ofuro was particularly good. Will definately be staying again.
