Guest House Honami-Kaido is located in Yamanouchi, 6.7 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park, 11 km from Ryuoo Ski Park, and 20 km from Suzaka City Zoo. The place is a country side atmosphere, with wood interiors and comfortable furniture Breakfast was delicious and the owner was amazingly kind and polite . I forgot my pillow on the check out day and the owner kindly arranged to send it back to my house without charges .

Offering a barbecue and ski storage space, AIBIYA is located in Yamanouchi in the Nagano Region, 4.1 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park. The staff was very nice and we had very interesting conversations. They give very good advice on the area and the Onsen. The place is spotless clean, beautiful and very quiet and comfortable. For a fee, you have access to Onsen in neighboring hotels. The town of Yudanaka is also very nice. The hotel is very close to the train station. From there, you can take a bus to the Snow Monkey Park. Convenience store, bars and restaurants are all walking distance too. If you need to do laundry, be aware that you have to start it before 8pm (might be good to know if you're traveling around and didn't have time to do it before).

Located within 4.1 km of Jigokudani Monkey Park and 10 km of Ryuoo Ski Park in Yamanouchi, Yorozuya features accommodation with seating area. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic experience. They were not only friendly and welcoming but also attentive to every detail, always ready to assist with a smile.

Situated 3 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park, Yudanaka Onsen Yamazakiya offers accommodation in Yamanouchi with access to a hot spring bath. This was one of my favourite places where I’ve ever stayed! Shibu onsen is such a nice town & this ryokan is beautiful! The two onsen baths are really nice as well and you can reserve them. The owners were amazingly kind and the breakfast was great. It’s good to know this ryokan is not apart of the onsen route. I got a key for two other baths outside of the ryokan from the owner and got a foot bath in the main street, so I still managed to have a nice stroll in my yukata so it’s was absolutely fine to me!

Shiga Kogen Lodge features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Yamanouchi, 20 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park. There is a seating and a dining area in all units. Fantastic food, incredible hospitality from the hosts, great snow! A unique experience!

A 5-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Tawaraya offers Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Beautiful traditional Ryokan with amazing Onsen near train station. Super friendly owner, would definitely stay again.

Minshuku Miyama provides a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 3.6 km of Jigokudani Monkey Park and 13 km of Ryuoo Ski Park. Ryokan perfecte per conèxier aquests tipus d'hotels tradicionals japonesis. L'esmorzar era boníssim i els banys termals molt tranquils. L'habitació també estava molt bé, els futons molt còmodes. Els propietaris no parlen anglès, però ho tenen tot escrit en notes perquè et puguis entendre amb ells perfectament.

At Daymaruya Ryokan, guests can enjoy hot-spring baths and traditional Japanese-style accommodations with free wired internet access. We LOVED our stay. The owners and friendly, kind, helpful and welcoming. Our room was large with a private wash closet. (Shower room is common). They picked us up and dropped us to the train, took us up to the snow monkeys and offered suggestions and advice about locations in town. They are always kind and we were happy to run into them in the hallways and say hello. They have male and woman baths and a private osen also available. You can place your order a traditional breakfast in advance of the morning if you want one. They have a map of the local area with recommendations for food. We really enjoyed our stay.

Shibu Hotel, featuring traditional course meals using Shinshu beef, private hot springs, and shared open-air and indoor baths, is an 8-minute ride from Yudanaka Station via free shuttle bus. The perfect location, a wonderful room, fantastic meals and gracious hosts. This hotel is also very close to the snow monkeys!
