Guest House Honami-Kaido is located in Yamanouchi, 6.7 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park, 11 km from Ryuoo Ski Park, and 20 km from Suzaka City Zoo. Very comfy and clean. The owner does not speak much English, but he went out of his way to translate and help with anything I needed. He drove me to snow Monkey park as well as picked me up. VERY nice experience.

The staff were very helpful, even though some didn't speak English, they still tried their best to assist. The lobby was spacious and beautiful. The rooms were clean and well-equipped.The breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the best part was the outdoor onsen. They have a large onsen that you absolutely shouldn't miss if you stay here.The hotel has parking in front of the building, but there aren't many spaces, so you should inform the hotel in advance that you will be parking a car.

A 5-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Tawaraya offers Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. We had a great stay at the Tawaraya Ryokan. Excellent and friendly service. We loved the outdoor hot spring bath that could be reserved privately for each room. The breakfast and dinner in the hotel are excellent, best we had on our two week Japan trip.
