It was such a beautiful accomodation, felt very homely and relaxing. The owner is the nicest bloke I’ve met on this trip, and is an absolutely fantastic cook. I will be recommending this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.

I can't begin to describe how good my stay was here. The accommodations were amazing. The room was warm and cozy. The building was beautiful and looked new and clean but, had the charm of an old traditional Japanese home. I came to snowboard and they had a room to store and dry all my wet gear. They were able to handle shipping my snowboard to and from the airport with Yamato transport. There is a direct bus to and from Shiga Kogen every day as well. There is not an onsen on site but, you can buy tickets to various local onsens, all of which were spectacular. All onsens had an indoor and outdoor bath. Breakfast was served every morning and, it was great to eat and chat with other travelers. Truly, the best part about staying here was the owners themselves. Yoshi and Seong-mi were two of the kindest, most friendly people I've encountered on any of my trips across the world. They made my experience feel like I was staying with my brother and sister. In fact, the whole town of Yudanaka felt like home to me and, I know this is a place I will never forget for the rest of my life.

Boasting open-air hot spring baths, a heated indoor pool and beautiful Japanese gardens, Senjukaku offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation that has a historic charm. The most pleasant hotel experience I ever had! Just perfect!

The food was amazing, it was an experience on it's own. Be prepared to eat things that you wouldn't usually eat and have a real authentic Japanese experience. I looked forward to breakfast every day, the food was beautiful and presented beautifully. The owners are super helpful and the location to the ski lifts is superb. We hadn't done an Onsen yet until we stayed at Shiga Kogen, so it was baptism by fire as the shared bathrooms is the Onsen, but don't be put off, it's an amazing experience and the Onsen is great after a day on the slopes.

Tawaraya berjarak 5 menit jalan kaki dari Stasiun Kereta Yudanaka, dan menawarkan akomodasi bergaya Jepang dengan Wi-Fi gratis dan TV layar datar. The staff is truly amazing! The lady who runs the Onsen is a delight. She speaks great english and she is very helpful. They all make you feel very welcoming. The place is neat, everything and everywhere is super clean. You can see that they truly embody the Japanese spirit of putting the heart into everything they do. I'd totally recommend this place to anyone who wants a true Onsen experience.

Ok first of all if you are looking for a traditional place to stay and feel super comfortable in a cozy futon bed -> here you‘ll have it all. The food is a hommage to japanese gods, it was so delicious and our host was the most amazing cute friendly granny you could have ever ask for! The private Onsen - Wow!

The staff was incredibly kind, came to pick me up at the station and then offered to take me to the monkey park. The hotel was nice, clean and the indoors and outdoors baths were great. A very calm place. I totally would recommend!!
