The place is a country side atmosphere, with wood interiors and comfortable furniture Breakfast was delicious and the owner was amazingly kind and polite . I forgot my pillow on the check out day and the owner kindly arranged to send it back to my house without charges .

Offering a barbecue and ski storage space, AIBIYA is located in Yamanouchi in the Nagano Region, 4.1 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park. The staff was very nice and we had very interesting conversations. They give very good advice on the area and the Onsen. The place is spotless clean, beautiful and very quiet and comfortable. For a fee, you have access to Onsen in neighboring hotels. The town of Yudanaka is also very nice. The hotel is very close to the train station. From there, you can take a bus to the Snow Monkey Park. Convenience store, bars and restaurants are all walking distance too. If you need to do laundry, be aware that you have to start it before 8pm (might be good to know if you're traveling around and didn't have time to do it before).

Yudanaka Onsen Yamazakiya har en ideell plassering i Shibu Onsen i Yamanouchi, 3 kilometer fra Jigokudani apepark, 12 kilometer fra Ryuoo skianlegg og 24 kilometer fra Suzaka Zoo. Everything was absolutely perfect. The private onsen, the room, and the location were all top tier. The facilities were so lovely and everyone was so accommodating. We had to rush out in the morning, so we didn’t have time to properly thank Akira or his mother.

The owners of the lodge treat guests like family and we love how meals were so sumptuous and thoughtfully prepared. Our family felt so spoilt with the meals and hospitality. Location is great as it is a short walk from a couple ski lifts. Lodging is simple but clean with common bath and bathroom areas.

A 5-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Tawaraya offers Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Beautiful traditional Ryokan with amazing Onsen near train station. Super friendly owner, would definitely stay again.

Minshuku Miyama ligger i Yamanouchi, 13 kilometer fra Ryuoo skianlegg. Her bor du med utsikt over fjellet. Very clean and authentic. The rooms were very nice, the owners provides yukatas as well. The location is superb - a short walk to the Snow Monkey Park - you can also arrange a transport with the owners without extra charge. The outside onsen is beautiful. Even though some things are older I do not mind that as everything was very well taken care of and clean.

At Daymaruya Ryokan, guests can enjoy hot-spring baths and traditional Japanese-style accommodations with free wired internet access. Very spacious and beautifully presented rooms in traditional Ryokan in the middle of Shibu Onsen. Comfortable Tatami beds. Great to have private toilet. The onsite outdoor private Onsen and inside (male/female) onsens were fantastic. Loved the supplied Yukata and Geta for the Onsens. Key supplied for all public onsens through town. The owners were so helpful and kind, driving us to and from snow monkeys and to Yudanaka station for our train. Enjoyed the traditional home made breakfast delivered to our room at reasonable price in beautiful bento box.
