It felt like an elite hotel in the Alps. Everything was top quality - food, room, surroundings. Dinner was a piece of art. Comfy slippers helped to enforce the cosy vibes. Plenty of general areas (lounge etc) for pleasant chilling and wonderful views from outside. I visited during the summer and seriously consider coming back during winter.

Featuring sea views, Solvang camping og leirsted provides accommodation with an open-air bath, a garden and a terrace, around 14 km from The Rock art of Alta. Very spacious cottage when you step inside with renovated bathroom and kitchen. Everything was clean and well equipped. The folding table and sofa bed were great to create as much functionality as you needed if traveling with more than two people. The bunkbeds were very comfortable, although note top bunk would be suitable for a shorter person which worked out perfectly for us. This facility was nicely situated by a beach which was lovely as it was quiet throughout the entire area with respectful neighbors. Overall great facility, well maintained, clean, and very friendly young gentleman at the front desk who was helpful.

Snow Resort Kirkenes has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Kirkenes. A sauna and a ski equipment rental service are available for guests. We stayed in a gamma cabin which was really amazing! Spacious, clean and well organised. Comfy beds. We did the king crab safari that was very interesting and informative. A real experience that I will remember for the rest of my life! We saw the northern lights both night that we were there... we were so lucky!
