Gaustatoppen Lodge - Mountain View - Gaustablikk encontra-se em Rjukan, na região de Telemark, e apresenta uma varanda e vista da montanha. Well... I have to sit down for this one. This is by far the best apartment I've ever been in. Though brand new, the interior looks and feels like an old mountain lodge. So much little details that makes you feel totally at ease. The size of the balcony with the stupendous view of Gaustatop. Out of this world. The host was very helpful when I had a question. Like the Michelin ratings: * = worth the visit, ** = worth the detour, *** = worth the journey. This is a *** place.

Tuddal Høyfjellshotel situa-se em Tuddal, a 12 km de Gaustatoppen, e dispõe de acomodações com um centro de fitness, estacionamento privado gratuito, um jardim e um terraço. We loved absolutely everything about this gem of a property: the location in a stunning natural environment, the adorable staff, the unique history and decor of the hotel full of collectible and heirloom furniture and, of course the wonderful dinner. Food certainly was a highlight as this is generally where Norway fails to impress us. We were served a fresh, creative, and delicious dinner in the beautiful dining room overlooking the fjell. The chef even adjusted the menu for the vegetarians among us, creating genuine new dishes for us. Wow! Again, that was unexpected as eating veg in Norway is often a challenge. Everything felt authentic and personal in this independently-run property. Dinner starts with a presentation of the history of the place by the owner, their struggles during Covid and how they overcame them. Charmingly, this introduction included the reading of a poem (sadly we don’t understand Norwegian so had to rely on the translation of the presentation afterwards). Every effort is made to be sustainable : There’s a vegetable garden, the delicious bread is baked on the premisses (we took a box of the amazing Flatbrød with us) and the lovely shop sells some local cheese, honey and other specialties including, this being Norway, sweets :) We are already dreaming of a next stay to the Tuddal Høyfjellshotel to experience more of its magic and of the stunning nature around it as our stay this time was way too short. Note to the owners: stay as you are, you are a genuine gem and the world needs more places like yours. Thank you for everything!

Wow - what a wonderful place for a relaxing stay. The hosts were charming and helpful. The accommodation far exceeded our expectations - spacious and comfortable with quality furnishings and even a separate kitchen and terrace we would love to have used if warmer. The river was only 200m away for relaxing walks, and a 24hr self-serve supermarket completed the rural escape convenience! Truly one of the best stays we have had - we could not rate it highly enough!

Em Vradal, Vrådal - in the heart of Telemark - Amazing views, ski in ski out, hiking, fishing, golf, sauna dispõe de acomodações com um pátio e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. Amazing views, comfortable modern cottage, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, large dining table and a very large and comfortable sofa. The fireplace made it cozy and the sauna was also good. Communication with the host was appropriate, the key was easy to find in the key box. If I were to find myself in the area again, I would definitely stay at Susanne's place again :)

Apresentando vista da montanha, Hytte Gaustablikk apresenta acomodações com um terraço e varanda, a cerca de 5 km de Gaustatoppen. Very nice house with a picture postcard view of the lake in front. We choose this to be close to the Gusta mountain.

Lägenhet med utsikt mot Gaustatoppen, ski in ski out disponibiliza acomodações em Gaustablikk, a 2 km de Gaustatoppen. A very nice place where you could comfortably stay for a longer period. Perfect view of Gaustatoppen. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the spacious living area combined with the kitchen is very comfortable. Parking is convenient next to the house (space for about three cars), and there’s also a larger parking area about 20 meters away. If you’re traveling with an EV, make sure to charge it in advance — there is a charger near the house, but it does not belong to the apartment.
