What a beautiful hotel, the spacious room, clean and new and the wonderful kitchen for our breakfast. Gorgeous location, quiet and good free parking right next to the hotel . Lovely hotel, very recommendable!

Cardrona Hotel features an iconic on-site restaurant and bar. You can enjoy the picturesque gardens while sipping a drink on the patio. It was a welcome rest as we arrived by bike. The front entrance is vintage and unassuming…but behind the long hedge is a huge beer garden which serves very tasty and reasonably priced food. We didn’t go in to the restaurant as the beer and garden food sufficed. The room was comfortable and looked in to the courtyard. The staff were all very friendly and were able to accommodate our bicycles. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend people go in the front door and check it out.

Archway Motels & Chalets offers quiet and secluded accommodation, only 200 metres from Lake Wanaka. The gentleman who helped us to check in is very friendly and helpful, we got our best meal in New Zealand under his recommendation, thank you very much!

Just 250 metres from Lake Wakatipu, Alexis Motel & Apartments features a large shared patio offering views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables Mountains. The cleanest place I've stayed at in years. The receptionist was incredibly nice and flexible. Big privacy windows with a good view of the mountains and not a far walk from the center of the town.

It was cosy and spacious. Helen was the so kind and helpful. She helped us to store our luggage before the check-in time so that we could wander around. Check-in was easy and a parking lot was provided. Only downside is you need to be cautious when exiting from the premise, especially when there are cars parked on the roadside. It took about 12 - 15 minutes to walk to the town, and it's also easy to walk to Skyline from town.
