All the staff were outstanding in helping with our trip to this marvelous location in such a serene area of Portugal. My only regret is we did not arrange to stay in the hotel longer. Super help from our server for supper. John our server not only made our evening feel very special but he also made some wonderful suggestions for the rest of our trip including somewhere to find some cheese that we enjoyed with our supper. We both found the cod main course splendid. Your staff made this short stay for us feeling relaxed and ready to continue our journey.

Located near Serra da Estrela, this 250-year old manor house has historic furnishings and artistic accessories. Each themed room is a reminder of older way of life. Beautiful place to stay with a very nice and quiet garden with a pool. Breakfast is excellent in a museum-like dining room.

In the Serra da Estrela Mountains, this Manteigas hotel offers guest rooms with balconies overlooking forest landscapes of Serra da Estrela . The property felt like luxury accommodation in the mountains. I stayed here as I was competing in a local trail race, Estrela Grande Trail, and it was perfect. All the staff were friendly and helpful in particular, Rafael. All meals and the breskfast were great each day.

The place itself is amazing. The attention to detail and the dedication of the team is superb. Ana's greeting and tips were special, and it made our stay memorable. We were given an amazingly prepared breakfast with eggs from their own chickens (whom we were introduced to) fresh apples , and juice from their own garden also fresh local produce and some tasty cheeses! We wanted to use the sauna super late in the evening and Ana was very accomodating to our request, also the sauna worked very well. If you're close to Covilha, you can't miss this unforgettable experience from start to finish. We will definitely return!

Great stay for the price, location, and comfort. Owner and staff very attentive. Nice calm town for some relaxation and filled with lots of traditional and cultural acostumes. 😊
