The cabin is situated towards the end of Ranca, so a bit isolated from the rest of the stuff, which was perfect noise wise. The view was beautiful, the beds comfortable, and I had the best garlic potatoes of my life. We only stayed for a night and left early in the morning. The staff was super accomodating.

Review stars cannot express how amazing we felt at Cabana Terra Rânca. Our apartment, on the third floor had vaulted ceilings, large windows, with large beds and sheets immaculately clean and pressed. We did not expect the elegant bathroom with an extra large fancy shower in a cabin at the top of a mountain but there it was. The balcony, had a coffee table and wick chairs and gave us a way to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Parâng Mountains in the morning with a coffee in had. Cabana Terra Rânca has an exquisite and unexpectedly (again) refined restaurant where the food is not only amazing but plated in beautiful arrangements that begged for an Instagram photo. The house wine and house afinata are one-of-a-kind. Every dish they serve is carefully selected and prepared. You can tell the amazing care and attention to detail that the entire staff puts into everything they do. It was truly amazing and refreshing to witness the staff’s warmth, welcoming, positive attitude and the pride they clearly show and demonstrate through their service. So is their attention to details and awareness. We travelled with senior folks and before we had to say anything after walking in the door they suggested that the planned 3rd floor second room we had booked adjacent to ours might not be a good fit for my parents despite the position and the view; it would have been very hard for them, being 80+, to climb the stairs to the third floor. The staff changed their room to a 1st floor, brought more chairs to the room and even lend them house shoes to make them more comfortable. It was really impressive to see the level of care they have shown. This continued for the rest of our stay with everything making us feel truly at home. The resort itself, Rânca is on top of the Parâng mountains with a view that is unique in the world; the Transalpina highway is a man-made wonder in the middle of a nature wonder and felt magical. We only wish we had more time to explore. 🤩🏔️❤️
