Situated in Iacobeni in the Suceava region, Cazare Dom Pensiuni Vatra Dornei Bucovina cu Ciubar has a balcony and mountain views. The location was really nice, close to nature, yet quite close to the main road as well (a bit steep to get there, depending on how you’re traveling). The dome was really cozy and had everything we needed. The kitchenette was really useful. Nice touch with the complementary bottle of wine. :) Would definitely return when it’s not that rainy to enjoy the nature at its fullest.

The cabin is very beautiful, in a secluded, quiet area. It is well equipped with everything you need for a few nights stay. Pensiunea Poiana Dornei has a private beach area, garden, a tennis court and barbecue facilities in Vatra Dornei. The house has is new, everything was spottles clean! There were only 6 or 7 rooms for rent, but the house itself is quite big, with a large common kitchen/dining area and a huge yard, with tables, external wooden jacuzzi, kids playground, BBQ area, tennis court and a large green-grass lawn, that our husky loved even more than we did! The hosts were really nice, down-to-earth people! They didn't speak English, but were able to communicate with ease thanks to Google translate. The man of the house greeted us uppon arrival and then treated us with a welcome drink - a traditional high alcoholic beverage, like Bulgarian rakia for me and a low alcoholic cherry liquore for my wife. The lady of the house offered us coffee from the coffee machine that was on our disposal in the kitchen area, showed us around the kitchen and on the next morning (it was Orthodox Easter) she treated us with peaces of homemade cake, freshly boiled home milk and also gave us amazingly hand-painted eggs! The hospitality of these people was out of this world! We can't thank them enough for the way they made us feel at home!

The room we stayed in was nice and cozy, clean and fresh. The included freebies were surprisingly more numerous than most of the locations we've stayed at before, so we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was right underneath the rooms and the girls in charge of the place were very kind and made it work when we went to have dinner without announcing first, in which case they created another spot where we could sit at because the restaurant was full. I recommend it 110%. When we revisit the area, we'll stay here again.
