The people make the difference. Sometimes you forget how good and kind people can be — and then someone like Richard (Richard and Isabel are the owners) comes along and reminds you. I arrived early at 08:00, before check-in time, after a long night train. I was tired, confused, and had many concerns about my ski plans (we dont ski in Israel, and it was my first time). Then I met Richard at the reception. He noticed my stress and calmly said, "Why don’t we start with breakfast? Allow me to take care of your belongings untill the room is ready." He truly wrapped me in care and kindness — and it meant the world to me. All my questions were answered by Isabel, who gave me great recommendations and guidance. Richard shared helpful ski tips, and I even received a lovely Easter gift — a small egg filled with chocolates. The place itself is very clean, breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the only downside is the distance to the ski area, which can be a bit challenging. To summarize — I 100% recommend this place. Wonderful location, big cosy rooms like home-away-from-home. Exceptionally good price/value-rate. Common room in basement is a life saver (because of weather!) while waiting the check-in. We recommend this place esp. for longer stay in Åre.

We had a nice little apartment outfitted with everything that we required. It was walking distance to the town center, railway station and grocery store. Close to the chair lift. Lovely view across the lake. Lots of mountain biking and hiking trails

This little cabin tucked away in a beautiful setting amid lakes and rolling hills was the perfect little escape from everyday life. The cabin is very well supplied with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It is very comfortable and relaxing. The fireplace was warming and cozy on a midwinter day. There is a manual that comes with staying here and actually it really helped me to know what to expect and proceed without issue, especially with the compost toilet that I was not familiar with. I highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. It’s probably amazing in the summer as well.

Com jardim e terraço, Guesthouse Olivier fornece acomodação em Hammarstrand com Wi-Fi grátis e vista para a montanha. Traveled for work and I was surprised in a good way. Price/value is great, really nice location and a very cosy house with everything I needed. Very comfortable beds. The heated floor in the bathroom was very nice. The hosts were most kind and took care of everything. Would definitely come back. Thanks.
