Featuring mountain views, Pine Knot Guest Ranch features accommodation with terrace, around 1.5 km from Big Bear Marina. With garden views, this accommodation offers a balcony. Everything was great: the rooms, the staff, the location and of course price( 70$ for two rooms including tax, are you f***ing kidding me 😆). The manager couldn’t speak English well, despite he was very polite and friendly. The village center was 5-7 minutes away only, which is very nice. It was so quiet in the morning, before check out we saw the lamas, they were so cute, took some pictures and videos. Highly recommended, probably we will be back next time.

Summit Lofts Boutique Hotel is offering accommodation in Mount Shasta. Featuring a shared lounge, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. No interaction was needed with anyone during check-in and out as they had a very efficient digital system in place but you can tell the owners have put a lot of heart and soul into the building. The room was spacious and finished to a really high standard, including the bathroom. We had the room at the end so had a beautiful view out onto Mt Shasta. Great café under the hotel is also worth a visit for some pastries before heading out to explore. They also had some good suggestions for food. We went to Yak Shack which was just in the process of being rebranded to Drizzle and that is worth a visit if you like a burger!

Immaculately clean. Great decor. Quiet and peaceful yet well situated for all things to do with the lake. Check in super easy and responsive team. Swing the coyote pups on the field at the end of the road was an added bonus

Featuring 5-star accommodation, South Lake Chalet by Heavenly is set in South Lake Tahoe, less than 1 km from Lakeside Beach and 1.9 km from Tahoe Queen. When we arrived, there was some urgent construction underway to improve the units. While this caused a bit of disruption to our stay, we decided to check out a day early and informed the team. To our surprise, they took the initiative to contact Booking.com on our behalf and arranged a refund for the final night. On top of that, they offered us an additional $50 as a gesture of goodwill. They weren’t obligated to do any of this, and it truly reflects their commitment to excellent service. What could have been a disappointing experience was completely turned around by their responsiveness and care. The hosts were quick to respond to any queries, the location is fantastic, and the rooms are comfortable. At the end of the day, it all comes down to service—and in this regard, they truly excelled.

It is spacious and super comfortable (quality furniture, perhaps better than the picture. Especially the bed, super comfortable!), and also a complete set of amenities to meet your needs. Nila and Alexey is very friendly, responsive, and informative. Definitely will stay here again if we visit Yosemite.
