The breakfast was wonderful. The castle is beautiful. There is a true botanical garden and the staff sang for my son's birthday. We enjoyed the the piano and the spa.

The host was very flexible with arrival and departure times and obtained passes for us to the local spa and gardens prior to our arrival. The house was spacious and clean and had all items needed for the stay. There were interesting things to do in the town and surrounding area, with our host giving recommendations. It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay, we just wished we could have stayed for longer.

Excellent value, location, staff, breakfast and saunas. Some would complain that fittings and furniture is 'dated" but it is not the case unless you couldn't live without ultramodern gizmos which as a rule useless. Everything is very clean and more than adequate. Johanna Rux and Ms ?Malommitti in reception deserve special recognition
