The owners told us that they had modelled the hotel on a Moroccan Riad and had imported not only the style ideas but the beautiful stone tiling too. Pretty much everything you want from a southern France get away. All facilities you would need are well equipped. Right by the beach, sizeable & well equipped kitchen that opens right up to the porch dining table with a barbeque not too far. Beautiful garden too and the neighbourhood was generally quiet.

We did not end up staying at this property and checked out less than an hour after arriving. Upon arrival we discovered there is no toilet or bathroom as part of the cabin nor next to or near. It is a walk down several steps and along the side of the main building. This made it impossible to stay - it would have been like camping and would be very inconvenient at night. I contacted to owner by phone to explain this, he said no worries and said sorry, he then appeared in person at the property and said the same thing. I explained the property details on booking.com were misleading. He confirmed we would receive a refund which needed to be processed through booking.com. We are still waiting for the refund (it's been over 10 days) having emailed and messaged the owner repeatedly. Booking.com have requested the owner confirms but he has not responded.

La Domitia is a lovely relaxing hotel. It has large, spacious rooms that have been tastefully modernised retaining its historic elegance and charm. Generous breakfasts are provided with home made and local produce that can be eaten in a pretty garden next to a pool. The service is excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future. Thank you La Domitia for a delightful stay.
