Lovely hotel, very friendly and professional staff. Nice, clean, modern room with comfy bed, good size bath and nice view overlooking the Estuary/Bay. Breakfast was excellent-I can honestly say that this was the best breakfast we ever had. Top quality food and plenty to chose from. Nothing was a trouble-asked for soya milk since I am allergic to dairy and staff fulfilled my request.

It is in a beautiful, quiet rural location but still handy for reaching places of interest, such as Erdigg, stately home, Flint Castle & Talcre Beach. The decor in the cottage is beautiful & no thought has been spared in making this a wonderful holiday retreat. The outdoor hot tub bathing is so relaxing, with a beautiful view .

The bathroom was clean with plentiful hot water and toiletries. Quick kettle and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was superb both cold continental fruit pastries and meat and cheese buffet followed by a full English. Dinner the night before was also a pleasant experience - serving staff very attentive - limited menu butt well cooked. Very good views across the River Dee with Liverpool cathedral on the horizon.
