Palazzo Maresgallo embodies the very essence of Lecce! Each and every thoughtful detail has been lovingly curated, and it shows. While the quality shines, there is nothing pretentious about this beautiful hotel. It truly feels like home, particularly if your home is a former Italian palace…wink. I would also add that photos do not (and perhaps cannot) do adequate justice to the layers and quality of finishes, linens, and original art. I have had the privilege of staying at some amazing hotels, and Palazzo Maresgallo now rates chief among them. If a room with a terrace is available, it is worth the splurge. I will return to Lecce for the sole purpose of staying again at Palazzo Maresgallo. What an unforgettable place!!

The property is located in an ideal location adjacent to the incredible historical town of Lecce. You are walking distance from all the attractions and restaurants plus it’s great location to find easy parking if you’re with a car. Francesco the owner was kind and generous, hospitable and very helpful. The suite is specious, comfortable and modern with everything you need to enjoy the marvelous city of Lecce. I highly recommend this property and give it 5 stars all the way!

I couldn’t fault the experience we had staying at Palazzo Sant'Anna Lecce. Francesca and the team catered for our every need. They suggested on places to visit across Puglia, booked taxis on our behalf, were more than happy to stop and chat with us for hours and always had a smile on their faces. They upgraded our room as it was my friends birthday! The beautiful chef even baked a cake for us and the team sung happy birthday. The Palazzo was seriously the best place we have stayed in Europe and I highly recommend staying here. Facilities are immaculate, everything is cleaned daily and is very sterile. Breakfast is ample with different items on a daily basis, all made in house including: pastries, focaccia, antipasto, eggs and many more. I will certainly be returning as four nights is not enough to explore Puglia. I look forward to seeing the team again. Arrivederci!!

This was one of my favourite stays. Warm hosts who have put significant time and effort into making sure guests have a pleasant stay. The entire property has been renovated and is brand new. There is a spacious kitchen/living room, large bedroom, sunny private terrace, washing machine and a beautiful bathroom with a huge shower. A special bonus is the owner's beautiful art decorating the walls. I would happily stay here again if I were in Lecce. It is a very short walk to the train station and the historical centre. Quiet and peaceful at night.
