The service was exceptional from the moment I arrived. Niina and Goto at the welcome desk were genuinely warm, attentive, and made check-in feel effortless. Akaki went above and beyond, personally coordinating restaurant and onsen reservations for me throughout my stay — which made a big difference on a busy itinerary. The room was spotless, the amenities were top-tier, and the location was perfect for accessing the rest of Beppu.

Lovely location. In room onsen was so awesome to have. Views from the balcony were exceptional, mountains, the city and the sea. The food was absolutely gourmet level and was a highlight for us. The staff were warm, friendly and helpful.

The lovely seaview, the spacious rooms, and the plentiful amenities. Both the outside and inside onsens are nice, and the foods were decious. We can also visit the guest onsen with an infinite openair pool, a sauna and a whirlppool, and the seaview lobby at the affiliate hotel Amane Seikai next door free of charge. There is also free afternoon tea, with decent snacks and drinks daily.

SEKIYA RESORT Terrace Midoubaru is located a 15-minute drive from JR Beppu Station and features guestrooms with a semi open-air bath. Guests can soak in the hot spring bath.
