Spa hotels in Kampot

RIvertree is an unbelievable experience. The rooms are perfect, the staff are all outstanding and the food superb. We loved everything about the resort. It is a little way out of Kampot but it is simply 5 star. I’m not sure the photos on booking.com do it justice ! Beds are very comfortable and the rooms are lovely and clean. Breakfast choice was great and the lunch and dinner menu good. We would highly recommend and I do hope we are lucky enough to return one day. Thank you.

We stayed over the weekend, as Kampot is always one of our favourite getaway destinations. This time, we chose Chateau Kampot because it is a new and visually appealing property. From the outside, the colonial-style building stands out beautifully, and once inside, it offers a warm, nostalgic atmosphere. We booked a Deluxe Room, which turned out to be very spacious—much better than we expected. The bed was incredibly comfortable; the moment we lay down, we completely relaxed. The bathroom was also spacious, though the hot water took about two minutes to warm up. The staff were truly the highlight of our stay—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Breakfast was good and sufficient for us, though it could benefit from a wider variety of options.

I loved this peaceful location surrounded by beautiful countryside to explore on bicycle. BUT you have to know this place is far from Kampot town! Don't come here if you aren't here for the spa. The spa experience is AMAZING! Like nothing I've ever done anywhere in my travels. It really was a total cultural immersion. I had an amazing experience and I loved that the staff couldn't speak English and communication was through gestures and caring touch rather than words. My spa day flowed seamlessly. The spa is totally different than any spa I've been to. I paid a set price for the 1/2 day. There was no menu and nothing to add to the price..... but I was given so much attention and loving care. The spa day started with learning about traditional women's medicine and pounding many kinds of fragrant roots in a mortar and pestle. The roots are good for every health ailment and also for beautiful skin. I kept imagining that I'd travelled back 500 years and was in ancient Angkorian Cambodia. Even the steam machine for the steam room was wonderfully primitive. We used the pounded roots as a kind of body lotion in the stone walled steam room. After the steam I was gently ushered to a lawn chair where I was given a long and most incredible head massage. Afterwards my hair was washed for me while I still lay in the chair and drifted into dream states. I was given some time to relax in a beautiful mineral springs fed stone pool. And after that there was more! All through the day I was brought tea and exotic fruits and even Khmer desserts. Meals are eaten together with the spa ladies and other guests. The food was by far the best I've had in Cambodia. Everything is locally grown and organic and so fresh! Even the rice noodles in our lunch curry were made just down the street. My bungalow was small, simple, and sweet with a big balcony overhanging a pond and shared bathrooms I could say so much more! Just go.

An amazing Ressort with great staff!

Amazing Staff & Hotel. A special thank you to Ly Bei on reception, attention to detail was amazing calling us by our names every time she saw us, addressing our every need with a smile, she was incredible also So Pheak in the restaurant again super nice and very attentive making sure we got everything we needed. By far the best hotel we have stayed in Cambodia. The room, the pool & everything about this hotel was brilliant.

The location is great. You are in the city center, away from the hustle and bustle, crossing the bridge over the river. An oasis in the noisy city. Breakfast on weekdays, when there are fewer people, is prepared from a menu. There is a small additional offer in the form of a buffet. We ate the western cuisine offer, it was enough even for my husband. The food was fresh and tasty. Relaxing by the pool was great.

Clean and spacious rooms with comfy bed and great shower. The staff was very friendly, food at restaurant was great, and the view from the rooftop is amazing especially at sunset!
