NorwayThe roof terrace is the best asset, but there are no views of the river or stupas. The breakfast is pretty decent, and the people working there, and in the frontdesk are polite and serviceminded.
Not so impressed by the room or the bed, or even hotel location. Internet is horrible, but parts of Myanmar struggle with that. Also frequently power outages is common.
The Bagan area is amazing to explore, I did it on an electric scooter, and a balloon. Consider if you want to stay in new Bagan or old Bagan is my best tip.

The closeness to the airport was not a problem, noise-wise. The property included a very friendly restaurant on the first floor of the main building, with a menu of international, oriental and Burmese dishes, which made dinner easier for those who were not willing to leave the property in the evening. The individual apartments are well made and private. Good breakfast offering western options like croissants. Owner and hotel staff were exceptionally helpful with things like organising a Tuk tuk tour of Old Bagan and especially arranging the onward bus travel to Mandalay for which was extremely grateful.
