The location could not be better. The food in the dining room and the breakfast buffet were top notch. The staff was exceptional and I always felt welcome and appreciated. The room was quiet and very comfortable.

Everything was nice and clean. We got an AC even though we did not ask for one. Should you need to, upgrading a room is very easy if there are other rooms available. I always go to this hotel when visiting family in the East of Slovakia, they never let me down. The service is exceptional compared to Slovak standards. The reception is open 24-7, whatever you need they have. I needed an extra towel, and the nice lady at the reception gave me a fresh one, even at 3 in the morning. The breakfast is great and the amenities (spa, massage, dining hall, bar) are excellent. Remember to book a massage at least a day ahead, usually they are completely booked out. This hotel really meets everything a traveler like me expects.

We had to stop overnight close to the PL-SK border. I looked for a place that would have room to sleep 3, have 8+ rating, and have dinner options as we would arrive late on a Sunday. What I liked was the presentation which showed exactly the above, and on top, dinner was included. And also that they had a restaurant. I liked the fact that it was on our way and that we could eat in the evening. And they had some velvet bedding, which turned out warm as it got quite cold during the night. People look OK, and it's obvious it is a family business. Breakfast was OK-ish. There were 2 separate rooms and a fitted kitchen. And the borscht we had for dinner was pretty amazing.
