Room was very nice, clean and very quiet. I liked that we received the code in the sms so getting into the parking lot and room was very easy without the need to contact anyone. Bed was very comfortable. We had everything we needed.

Everything was just fine - nice clean room, great breakfast and dinner, just 10-15 mins walk to the very center of the town. The fitness room is great - I was able to do my regular fitness exercises as usual. And the swimming pool is amazing - quite long for such a small hotel. Next time in Gmunden will defined stay here again

Located on the shore of Lake Traunsee, with direct lake access, Das Traunsee - Das Hotel zum See 4 Stern Superior is situated in the centre of Traunkirchen in the Salzkammergut, 10 km from Gmunden. Beautiful hotel at a great location. Very nice interior everywhere. The breakfast was really nice, and the dining area outstanding. My room was clean and cosy with a lovely view from the balcony. I would have preferred a little cooler indoor temperature though.

This 4-star superior hotel is located in the heart of Traunkirchen and offers two restaurants, a spa area with an infinity pool and lake access with a private swimming area. I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Post am See. A stunning location, welcoming and professional staff, beautiful rooms, delicious food, and of course the berg spa! It really does look like the pictures, even better in fact. I especially appreciated a honey massage from Laura the masseuse. She was really excellent in my opinion. I feel like I'm still levitating days after. I don't often say something is 10/10, but for me the Post was an 11!

Located directly at the shore of Lake Traun, Seegasthof Hois'n Wirt offers a private beach area and rooms with free Wi-Fi. The saunas have a beautiful view and the pool with counter-current is also sufficient, the most beautiful are the trips to the surroundings :) Wifi is stable, the water in the pool is warm, there are excellent teas by the sauna. Parking is sufficient and free.

Just a short stroll from the scenic Traunsee Lake, our hotel is set in the picturesque mountain surroundings of the Salzkammergut region, ideally located between Gmunden and the heart of Altmünster. Great room - mirrors, huge bath, glass wall, styled nicely, comfy bed. You can get tea/coffee almost around the clock. The spa area is pleasant. Check-in was easy.
