The location was so serene and relaxing. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The host was welcoming and did everything to make us feel at home. While breakfast is not provided, visitors are welcomed to use the kitchen to make their meals.

Clean, comfortable room with nice outdoor space on deck next to the water. Quiet enough on side away from the main road. Restaurant good for dinner but not open for breakfast (other options within walking distance). Handy stop for accessing the national park on Cabot trail. Whale watching within walking distance, although our trip was cancelled due to high winds; close to nice walking trails from the park entrance visitor centre as an alternative activity.

Excellent hosts, dog friendly, a beautiful space with great views of the water, and a delicious breakfast catered to our dietary request.

Everything was perfect and more than met my expectations. The room was spacious and clean with everything anyone would need for their stay. I loved sitting on the back deck in the morning with my coffee (supplied by the motel), enjoying the lake. The breakfast was very good, lots of choices and again, everything very clean and well organized. I would definitely book with Trailsman Lodge on my next visit.

The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The little cabins are cozy and spaced far enough apart that you won't notice any of the other guests. The breakfast is not included but the Dutch pancakes are worth all the money.

Hotel well placed for Baddeck..you could walk or drive. Polite reception staff, friendly. Rooms very comfortable, clean and lots of space, comfy beds..good showers Breakfast was good...Nice menu. Pool was great..good place to cool off on a hot day.

Handy to start of Cabot trail. Clean and spacious room. Would have been so much better with sea view. Good breakfast..spacious restaurant.
