Hyggelig hilsen og liten overraskelse på rommet til min datter sin fylte år under oppholdet. Helt topp med kabelbanen rett ved hotellet som transporterer deg lett opp/ned fra byen. Ellers liten bakke å spasere ned til trivelig sentrum. Flott spasertur fra hotellet og opp til kirken Madonna Del Sasso med nydelig utsikt. Kommer vi tilbake til Locarno, blir det dette hotellet!

Located directly on the shore of Lake Maggiore, a private bathing beach, the jetty with its own marina and garden, guest rooms and suites. The location was perfect right on the waters edge. The room was huge and had a small balcony which was very nice to sit out on.

Det 5-stjerners Grand Hotel Villa Castagnola ligger rett ved bredden av Luganosjøen og innen gangavstand fra gamlebyen i Lugano, i en privat, subtropisk park. - we loved our rooms, very spacious - we got a free room upgrade (we had 3 rooms) - super friendly staff! Very helpful. - breakfast was nice - housekeeping cleaned the rooms twice a day with turndown service which we loved!! - there was always a gift in the room, like chocolate, cake, fruits, etc.. - very thoughtful management - rooms had huge balconies in the suits. - we enjoyed the new year’s eve dinner, the kitchen was very accommodating of our needs and requests.
