Our host and owner, Juan Pablo was very accomodating, helpful and kind. We felt very relaxed and comfortable and had access to all the facilities during our stay. The room was very clean and quiet, the decor was beautiful and the included Netflix on TV made it feel like home. We enjoyed the flexible self-service breakfast concept, where you can cook your own eggs on the stove and help yourself to what was available in the fridge (yoghurt, cheese, juice etc.) thank you Juan Pablo! 10/10!

Set in Santa Cruz's city centre, Casa Calfu offers accommodation only 220 metres from the main square, 600 metres from Casino de Colchagua, and 500 metres from Colchagua Museum. Free WiFi and private parking are offered on site. Everything was perfect but the staff were all delightful! They could not have been more helpful! When we checked out at 7.00 am yesterday before breakfast, with a two hour drive to Santiago ahead of us, a special breakfast tray had been delivered to our room, laden with fruit, yogurt, tea and sandwiches to send us off with a full stomach! So thoughtful! We enjoyed the hot tub and a relaxing massage during our visit too.

Second time we stay here; now with Kids and grandparents. My father in law present disabilities and this place was really friendly and easy for him to walk to many places without the use of wheelchair, there were no stairs in many places.

There are external showers for surfers, 4 stone hot tubs with hot ocean water, and the terrace. The location is outstanding - watching the Pacific Ocean from your bed, or on the decking is amazing. Staff were attentive - food was good. Breakfast brought to your room was such a thoughtful & most welcome gesture.

Punta de Lobos is 3 km away, while the bus terminal is 2.6 km away. Just the right mix of luxury and simplicity. Amazing view at the sunset through glass walls. The food basket in the morning was a very nice touch. The person at the reception was kind and helpful and very cool about my payment that wasn't going through. No TV (a projector is in the room in case you are addicted or want to watch a movie). One of the best accommodations I've stayed at in 30 years of international travel (including some very fancy ones).
