Lujia Village is only 2 kilometers from the center of Guilin. It is one of the first 16 famous villages in Guangxi. They are also known for making tofu. 2) The hotel staff always went over and beyond for us. They helped us book our tour tickets, get a taxi where ever we were, prepared food that we want, and even did online shopping for us. They made the impossible possible for us especially when they were able to find the shirt that my son has been looking for. 3) We didn’t have to travel outside the village to find home-cooked dinner meal , especially after a day of sightseeing! Just about 3 minutes walk from the hotel is our favorite family restaurant. We ate there every night. 4) The inside of the hotel is newly renovated. It gave a vibe of simplicity and functional. I like that they have bathtubs in the rooms that we got. We even had access to the rooftop! 5) Their breakfast is so customizable! They always ask us what if we have any requests the day before breakfast. I personally enjoyed the Guilin Rice Noodles. What an incredible first experience in China!

The Beyond Villa Guilin Boutique Hotel se nachází pouhých 5 minut jízdy od jeskyně Reed Flute, 2 km od centra města Guilin, v blízkosti řeky Taohua a je obklopen zelení a tichou čtvrtí. The property was located very nicely in a little village within the city. The rooms themselves were beautifully decorated with good beds, a great bathroom. Who impressed most was the host! She was super friendly and always willing to help us out on how to spend our days. And she cooks a delicious breakfast every morning!

Positioned along Taohua River, Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel boasts a Chinese-style courtyard and is located in Lujia Village, just 2 km from downtown Guilin. The location of this hotel is well situated on the outskirts of Guilin city. It has several attractions within a walkable distance, such as Reed Flute Cave, but it is also a drivable within an hour and a half to major tourist sites like Longji rice terraces to the north and Yangshou county to the south. It is also within a cozy village, and we explored the local restaurants in the first day. The friendly owner of the establishment went above and beyond in service, responded through text quickly to arrange private tours to the places we wanted to go. We were picked up from the train station when we arrived at Guilin and transported back at the end of the trip. Breakfast options range from homemade local guilin rice noodles with fruit to a more western style option if preferred. Bed was comfortable with working wifi and AC. I was expecially impressed by the small things, how when we came back from a long day of touring the owner would always have fresh fruit waiting for us, how the towels and complimentary water would be refilled and waiting for us on our return, and how we were given a bag with snacks and other items for our trip home. If you are looking for a relaxed, local experience with good service that serves as a base to set off to see all Guilin has to offer, then I can't recommend this place enough.

Guilin O-LIVE Social Hotel -Riverside -Adjacent Elephant Hill -Pedestrian Street-Twin Towers-Mediterranean style se nachází v destinaci Kuej-lin a nabízí ubytování s fitness centrem, neplaceným... Superb location, very central on the river and a few minutes walk from Elephant Hill and the Sun and Moon pagodas, which I could see from the room. Booked a balcony room which had a huge bath overlooking the views, well appointed, modern and clean with some lovely little touches and soft bedlinen. The rooftop has stunning views and a couple of tables. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Staff super helpful.

We had a pleasant stay at The Reed Flute Retreat, we booked the Suite with a terrace for 3 nights, it had a beautiful view of fanglian pond and mountains. It's 5 mins walking distance from the Reed Flute Cave which is one of the scenic points at Guilin. It's 10 mins away from Guilin city, very easy to book the taxi from alipay or WeChat app. For breakfast they have only Chinese and Western options which are very much sufficient and we'll cook and serve. Melody is very helpful, speaks good English and very prompt I'm replying to all the queries. She even suggests the tours and helps to book. Please note this property has two resorts Heshe Lakeside Resort and Reed flute Retreat it's owned and manned by the same owner.

Yangshuo Lisa Boutique Hotel se nachází v destinaci Jang-šuo a nabízí pokoje s výhledem na město. Jen 2,1 km odtud je Autobusové nádraží Yangshuo South. Great option in Yangshuo. Felt like a new hotel. Very quiet. No smoking smells from other rooms. Host is super helpful. Would happily return

Shangri-La Nanning - The tallest hotel worldwide in Shangri-La Group se nachází na ideálním místě ve čtvrti Qingxiu District v destinaci Nan-ning. The hotel was "newer". The service was superior, attentive and thorough. The proximity to things in the center of the city were perfect, just a quick taxi to anywhere we wished to go. The amenities the hotel offered and the layout of the room were excellent. The room was very romantic and the bath tub such a wonderful, classy touch.
