يقع Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails ضمن منطقة محمية أرينال، وعلى بعد 2.7 كم فقط من بركان أرينال، كما تحيط به ما مساحته 3.5 كم مربع من الغابات الاستوائية المطرية ويضم مسبح وتراس للتشمس وغرفة ألعاب... Awesome attention, their personnel is amazing, they treat you with kindness and compassion all the time. Everything is so unique, clean and well taken care of. Observation deck in front of the restaurant is perfect and the observation tower visit early in the morning will allow you to see many animals including spider monkeys :) This property is for the ones who prefer nature, comfort and still a little bit of adventure over luxury or having an Instagram urban experience. Is down to earth and still a wonderful inmersive but delicate dive into the wild, respectful to the animals and all living creatures.

The hotel was a "horizontal" complex in that all rooms were at ground level with just two rooms per building and the buildings are scattered throughout the property. As the rooms were on ground floor the view was limited, I guess because of privacy concerns by just stepping out the the door the the Arenal volcano is right in front of you, an amazing view! The breakfast was a well stocked buffet and the a la carte restaurant was also very good. For a less formal atmosphere we tried the excellent Sushi bar at the pool that is open til 10pm. (There is also a pizza place but we didn't try them). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Tours are available at the hotel and we took one to the volcano and another to jungle tour with suspension bridges. Both were good but we preferred the jungle tour. The thermal water hot pool was a great place to relax after hiking and sightseeing. If you have a car and feel a little adventurous the "Rio Celeste" in the Tenorio Volcano National Park is worth the trip. Its about 90mins from the hotel but be aware that the walking trail in the park is about 5 to 6 Km to take in all the viewing points and places can be uneven. To get to the waterfall there are perhaps 200 steps down (and then back up again!)

This tropical hotel is located next to Costa Rica's Arenal Volcano, 6 km from La Fortuna. It offers a natural hot spring, outdoor adventure activities, a luxurious spa and scenic volcano views. Everything! The facilities are amazing, the internal shuttle is super convenient, staff is really helpful. We absolutely loved it.

The walks and hikes within the property are better than most of the walks we did in national parks throughout the country. Lots of wildlife /birds pass by even when having breakfast. Very nice staff. Perfect setup to visit Mistic bridges early in the morning before the tour buses arrive.

It was clean and creepy crawly free. Everyone did such a great job to keep the grounds clean and safe. They went above and beyond. Any question I had it was answered and always good recommendations.

We really enjoyed everything at the cacao lodge. The staff was exceptionally nice, hospitable and helpful. Breakfasts were very good generous and tasty. The complementary spa and cacao farm tours were a very nice addition to our stay. Very happy we chose Finca Amistad. Highly recommended.

Location, staff and all facilities are really great. We were on our honeymoon and they upgraded us to our own lodge. Pool was nice, hike was really cool and the food was really delicious. We also saw a baby sloth just metres away from the reception which they showed us uppn arrival. All in all a visit worth remembering, thanks again!

Located 250 metres from La Fortuna Park, La Fortuna Suites Lodge features free WiFi access and Each room is private and is equipped with a TV . The hotel and staff were lovely and very helpful. The hotel is in a super central location so you can easily walk anywhere, but it’s set back 2 streets from the Main Street meaning you have peace and quiet at night. Room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast we were served every morning was delicious - my favourite out of all our stays in Costa Rica!
