Breakfast was amazing... truly exceptional. Rooms were great and the spa facilities were very nice. I didn't use the gym but I peaked inside and was very impressed. Absolutely beautiful location, with a restaurant and store. It’s a central location for exploring the Black Forest and I love that the room came with a bus pass. My room had a perfect view of the sunrise and it was glorious! The staff were fantastic - my masseuse was excellent, and the reception staff were attentive and helpful. I didn’t make it to breakfast or dinner on a long day and they checked in on me. I also loved that a table was reserved at breakfast and dinner when you ask.

This fine 4-star design hotel is situated in the heart of the town of Villingen-Schwenningen, in the Black Forest. The Neckar cycle path runs beside the property, which offers bike storage facilities.... Clean modern room. Great breakfast. Parking right in the same building. Reasonable price.

The location is amazing. Every day the view from our balcony looked more beautiful. We were lucky to have stayed a week in November when it was bright sunshine so we were able to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Cycling is so easy as the hotel really is in the middle of the forest but glad we had e-bikes as steep slopes all around. The bridge directly into the forest was an instant immersion into to Schwarzwald. We also took advantage of the wellness program and did qi-jong in the fresh air and reminded ourselves to slow down and breathe! The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Big shout out to our waitress Anna too.

This is a beautiful hotel in a lovely town of Hinterzarten. The double room I was in was large and with a great size balcony; the spotlessly clean bathroom that looked like it had been installed recently. The hotel has excellent wellness facilities. And there is great food available for breakfast and served for dinner. The hotel is run by a family which creates a great atmosphere and services are delivered with great care and pride. It is relatively easy to travel to Hinterzarten by public transport and the hotel is within 10 mins walk from the railway station. The forest trails start within less than 100 meters from the hotel. There are great many forest walks and lots of things to do in the area.
