Situated on a hillside above Lochau bei Bregenz, Fritsch am Berg offers panoramic views of Lake Constance and a 700 m2 spa area with an indoor pool, a steam bath, a sauna, a gym, and massage rooms. This is a great place! Beautiful location, and the staff takes excellent care of it. Clean modern rooms with nice views. The restaurant offers several options for dinner and all of excellent taste. Local products are used. Great advice from the sommeliere for Austrian wines. Excellent breakfast. Huge spa area, swimming pool and garden. Hiking, biking, sightseeing - lots of options nearby. Staff is polite, friendly and well-trained.

Cleanliness and facilities are very good for being a "gasthaus" on the countryside, but then again, this is not the normal average gasthaus. The room was very comfortable with an amazing balcony that gave an outstanding view of the lake a couple miles away. Nicely situated between St Gallen and the restaurants/bars along the shore of the lake. Gorgeous!
