We really liked this place. Beachfront, clean, and the staff was super friendly. Is also close to Puerto Plata city in car. We would definitely come back (it's in front of Ocean World and we didn't take that into account) and we recommend.

A little more explanation of the extra charges would have been nice. Arriving at 11:00 p.m. at night and just being told what I have to pay, not being explained, would have been more acceptable. Same with check out.... Staff were rude because I didn't know the check out procedure. However, no one explained it to me.

Set in Cabarete, 8 km from Encuentro Beach, Tropical Casa Laguna offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a bar and a garden. the breakfast wasnt avaliable when i got to the loction they told me it wasnt working right now but understandable pther than that i love the staff the receptionist was cool helpfull pool love it the room perfect nice and good air conditioner my family and me loves the place and will be back soon 🤭🤭

Activities that can be enjoyed in the surroundings, include cycling, horse riding and fishing. The property offers free parking. Everything was great. The hotel was very clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the location is excellent — close to restaurants and the beach. We stayed only one day, and when our flight was cancelled, the staff kindly allowed us to stay at the hotel until 4:00 pm for only $16 per person. The breakfast was also very delicious.
