Best place to stay ever. I've stayed at quite a few hotels in the area, and this one is by very very far the absolute best. Amazing place. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the hot springs.

Arrayan y Piedra features a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Macas. Everything was perfect. Nice room, including the bathroom. Dining facilities were excellent, delicious food. Grounds were beautiful, including the pool.

Set in Shell, Hosteria Shell features accommodation with a sauna, a hot tub and spa facilities. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. I am from Minnesota, so rating a hotel in a small town like Shell I will try to be fair. The hotel had good security, breakfast was great! Staff were also wonderful. The bed was OK, windows are a bit warped and could not shut all the way. We did not use the pool which was clean. Unsure about the other spa area as it looked like it had not been used in a long time. Staff walked my wife and I to the only restaurant in the area which was about 1 block away.

This place is amazingly beautiful. The room looked out to rain forest scenery and was more than comfortable. The addition of the the natural pool, tree house and garden made it the most tranquil stay I have ever experienced. The host bagha is a great guy that is always on hand to help and give info. He is a trained masseuse and I experienced one of the most relaxing massages I have ever had. All In all if you want a relaxing yoga experience or just a stay in a zen tranquil place then this should be on top of your list.

Located in Puerto Misahuallí, Hotel El Albergue Español provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Guests at the lodge can enjoy a continental breakfast. We are really happy that we stayed here because the family was really nice and the terrace is so beautiful and good to chill out. We did the 2nights-3days jungle Tour (hostel recommended) and it was amazing. The food was really good and we got big portiones. The staff there was always really helpful and they explained a lot to us, the vibe there is awesome!
