The private garden with view on the mountains, enjoying the ofurno, delicious breakfast… it was all amazing. The hosts are extremely kind and helpful, it was a pleasure to be their guests! The stunning Hotel Marqués de Riscal, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Elciego, is located in Elciego, in La Rioja’s Álava province. The building is a work of art worth visiting and seeing in daylight and especially at night. The overnight stay is a must! We enjoyed the included winery tour with wine tasting and huge breakfast the next day. For dinner we decided to try the Non-Michelin restaurant and its extraordinary tasting menu.
