Staying at the salt lake lodge didn't feel like a hotel or resort, but instead felt like you got to experience how it would feel to live in a Fijian family. Not only were the people great but the food was extraordinary. They both could be in a Michelin star restaurant with the food they provided. We would also recommend doin LOVO with them, which is a traditional grill on an campfire of which I shared photos of. The location itself for us was also a 10/10 because we love being surrounded in nature, and what ever window you looked out from was the beautiful environment, even from the shower you could see the river. We could not recommend this place more if we wanted to. I hope your experience will be as beautiful as ours

One of the best places I have stayed and I have stayed in a lot of places. This place takes hospitality to another level. The welcome- they sing for you then you get a welcome drink, a foot massage a first day welcome cocktail in the evening. The day before your Check-out you eat in cave, with sunset and everything so beautiful. When you leave they sing a good bye song for you. I liked that most vegetables you eat are fresh and straight from the garden. They grow their own vegetables and herbs, garden to table. The garden manager is a great person as well. Special thank you to the following people: Ma, Mila, Bill, Eddie, Mita, Roberta, Isaac, Riccoh, Koto, Mela, Goto, the Chef and everyone who made my stay there a beautiful experience. The staff were all great but Vilisi was especially wonderful. The location was perfect. Really good snorkeling. The house reef is good but the boat excursions were amazing. We realized a bit late in the week that we could request special meals from the kitchen team. - kokondo every day !!
